The Anthem Advanced 29 was built for this. It’s the latest evolution of a bike that has helped push the sport forward since 2005, when it first appeared on the World Cup circuit. Designed to give racers like Alan Hatherly, the current UCI Elite Men’s XC World Champion from the Giant Factory Off-Road Team, a competitive advantage, the next-generation Anthem is lighter, more efficient, and built to win.
Key Features of the Anthem Range
The Advanced composite frameset is 241g lighter than previous generation. The bottom bracket area is stiffer for faster acceleration, and a steeper seat tube puts the rider in an efficient climbing position.

With a full-composite frameset and 100mm of FlexPoint Pro rear suspension, this race-ready XC bike puts you in charge on fast and technical terrain. It’s designed with 29er-specific frame geometry including a longer reach and a slacker head tube to balance efficiency and control. Add in a lightweight composite WheelSystem, and the podium is within your reach.

The linkage-driven, single-pivot FlexPoint Pro rear suspension makes room for shorter chainstays, which improves climbing capabilities and agility. Other updates include 29er-specific XC race geometry and internal cable routing.
