Born to race
The TCX got its start in 2003 as an aluminum frameset developed exclusively for racers. That original frame was the world’s first cyclocross bike with compact geometry. It even offered the option to use disc brakes years before most racers had ever thought about abandoning cantilevers. Four years after that original frameset hit the scene, TCX became available as a complete bike for the first time. It was built on a lightweight ALUXX SL aluminum frame with a composite fork.
Innovating and making history
In 2011, the TCX Advanced SL became the first production cyclocross bike made with a full composite frame and fork. Two years later, Dutch pro Lars van der Haar, riding a prototype model, became the first rider to win a World Cup on a bike with disc brakes. Soon after that, in 2014, our first D-Fuse seatpost—a design featuring a D-shaped shaft for added compliance, a smoother ride and improved control on rough terrain—made its debut on the TCX range.
Key features of the TCX range
The latest TCX Advanced Pro raises the bar as the most well-rounded TCX yet, boasting significantly lighter weight while retaining the same class-leading stiffness as the previous generation. The Advanced-grade composite frameset is 200g lighter, and the fork is 60g lighter. These weight reductions and engineering breakthroughs make this TCX more agile and responsive on roads, dirt, sand, and whatever else the course throws your way. It’s faster up climbs, easier to hoist over your shoulder, and quicker in sprints.
TCX Advanced Pro
Designed to meet the needs of cyclocross competitors of all levels, this composite racer combines lightweight efficiency with proven geometry and asymmetrical chainstays for optimal power transfer. The D-Fuse composite seatpost helps smooth out bumps and vibrations. Other innovations include a composite WheelSystem and tubeless tires along with flat-mount disc brakes and 12mm front and rear thru-axles for precision cornering, sprinting and climbing in all conditions.

This superlight Advanced-grade composite frameset is handcrafted with race-proven geometry and asymmetrical chainstays for optimal power transfer. The D-Fuse composite seatpost helps smooth out bumps and vibrations, and you also have the option to use a 30.9mm round standard or dropper seatpost.
