This is E-MTB
Accelerate up climbs. Float through rock gardens. Experience more power, agility and control than you ever imagined. This is the most fun you can have in the dirt.
Key Characteristics of an Electric Mountain Bike
An electric mountain bike has a lightweight and quiet motor, powered by a battery system, that’s engineered to sync up with your pedaling power and give you a boost. The motorized support gradually increases from a static position and gradually decreases when you stop pedaling.
Electric mountain bikes typically use batteries integrated into the down tube. The range for a single battery charge can vary greatly depending on conditions such as rider weight, terrain, elevation changes, and tire pressure.
With a collection of components including the motor, the battery, control units, pedal-assistance sensors and a smartphone app that enables customization, all the key elements of an electric mountain bike are designed to work as an integrated system.
E-MTB FAQ
The range you can expect from a single battery charge can vary greatly depending on conditions such as overall weight (your body weight plus any gear you are carrying). Other factors include wind resistance; tire pressure and tread profile; terrain and elevation changes; road or trail surface; outdoor temperature; maintenance of your E-bike; and the condition of the battery.
Battery life on Giant bicycles is exceptional, but if you run out of power you can continue to pedal and use your E-bike without support.
Best bike I have owned yet!“This bike is great. It climbs like a beast and eats the chunky tech up like it is not even there. I ride a lot of steep tech with drops and jumps and it does it all. Out of all the bikes i have owned, this is my favorite.”
