Defy Advanced E+ Elite

The new SyncDrive Move Plus motor delivers up to 30Nm of pedal assistance (equivalent to 75Nm with a mid-drive motor) in a lightweight, quiet system integrated into the rear hub. It features five support levels and Smart Assist technology.

Three smart sensors precisely measure the power being applied to the pedals so the motor can provide just the right amount of assistance to create a natural, powerful riding experience.

Ultra-slim battery uses breakthrough technologies to deliver 400Wh of power in a highly efficient and lightweight 2.3kg system. You get all the power, but in a smaller package that’s cleanly integrated with the composite frameset.

This integrated multi-function button is positioned conveniently on the top tube so you can easily turn the power on or off and change the motor settings.

High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is assembled and moulded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Steerer tube and fork legs constructed entirely from Giant’s premium Advanced SL-grade composite for light weight and precision handling.

Proprietary seatpost features a D-shaped composite shaft to better absorb road vibrations without the need for mechanical devices or special inserts. Optimised carbon layup helps increase overall compliance.

Lightweight composite or alloy handlebar (depending on the model) with D-shaped tubing combines road-smoothing comfort that’s up to 40% more compliant than traditional round handlebar with greater pulling (upward) stiffness for better efficiency while sprinting and climbing.

SRAM AXS front and rear derailleurs and wireless electronic shifters including SRAM Blips for additional shifter locations on the handlebars.

Lightweight composite or alloy integrated stem (depending on the model) with semi-internal cable routing improves aero performance and aesthetics with wind tunnel-inspired design.

Built-in taillight positioned near the top of the seat tube is always on, providing added visibility on the road.

This app allows you to tune the motor the way you want to, adjusting power to optimise efficiency or add more torque for steep climbs. You can also choose which ride data, including rider power output, that you want to display.
