Gravel & Adventure
There’s nothing like the feeling of exploring back roads, gravel and dirt. The cadence and texture of every bump and groove beneath your tyres. The satisfaction of building endurance on all-day gravel rides, discovering remote routes and venturing beyond the pavement. Whether you're chasing new horizons, tackling rugged terrain or simply escaping the ordinary, adventure starts where the road ends.
The Roads Less Travelled
Gravel and adventure bikes are built to expand where you can ride, each offering a unique approach to exploring beyond the pavement. Gravel bikes prioritize speed, efficiency, and control on mixed surfaces with a responsive ride for everything from fast gravel loops to all-day adventures. Adventure bikes are designed to carry you farther, with stable handling, increased comfort, and the versatility to tackle rugged terrain, bikepacking trips, and remote routes. Whichever path you choose, you'll discover something new on every ride.
Cross & Gravel Bike FAQ
Gravel bikes are built for speed, efficiency, and versatility on mixed surfaces. Whether you're exploring backroads, tackling long gravel routes, or lining up for endurance events, they deliver a responsive ride with confident handling. A balanced geometry, lower bottom bracket, and clearance for wider tires provide stability and comfort across changing terrain, while a wide gear range helps conquer steep climbs. Many gravel bikes also include mounts for bags and accessories, making them ideal for everything from day rides to lightweight bikepacking.
Adventure bikes are designed to take you farther with comfort, capability, and confidence. Optimized for extended rides, rugged terrain, and fully loaded bikepacking, they feature a more stable geometry, increased tire clearance, and additional mounting points for racks, bags, and gear. Their upright riding position reduces fatigue over long distances, allowing you to venture deeper into the unknown—whether you're crossing mountain passes, exploring remote forest roads, or embarking on multi-day expeditions.
Some gravel bikes feature front suspension, others do not. Suspension adds comfort and control. A rigid fork shaves weight and keeps things fast and responsive.
The Revolt X is designed for the roughest gravel terrain and features a 40mm suspension fork. While improving handling and control, a suspension fork also adds weight and may not be necessary on all types of terrain.
Giant’s Revolt prioritises efficiency and features a rigid composite fork which is lighter and more efficient but does not offer the same level of impact absorption.
