How does Click & Collect work?

Once an order is placed the processing begins immediately. 

Bicycles ordered will be shipped to an Authorised Giant Retailer. Orders may take up to 7 business days to arrive; bikes shipped to your local retailer will need extra time to be assembled. Your local retailer will contact you as soon as your order is available pick up.

The price for your bike includes professional assembly by an Authorised Giant Retailer. Your purchase price also includes delivery to your local Giant retailer and a basic fitting (seat height, shifter/brake lever positioning) to make sure you’re on the right size bike. If you are looking to really dial in your ride position, many retailers offer more thorough bike fitting systems which are not included in the price of bikes purchased through Giant WebLink.

Gear only orders will be shipped through our local carriers and may also take up to 7 business days to arrive. You will receive an e-mail after your order has shipped to your dealer. The order may be split shipping depending on inventory availability. This will not increase any applicable shipping charges, but may increase the amount of time it takes to receive your entire order.

We accept VISA & MasterCard as forms of payment.

What do the Stock Status mean?
In Stock, the item is available from the Giant warehouse
Coming Soon, the item is new and we are awaiting its arrival!
Out of Stock, the item is currently unavailable, but you can choose to be notified via email once the item becomes available.
Sold Out, the item is no longer available for purchase.

What are the shipping restrictions?
At this time we only ship customer orders to Authorised Giant Retailers located in Australia. If you are located in another country please check with your local Giant retailers for product offerings and availability.

While we can only ship your bike to a local retailer for assembly, some retailers offer a home delivery and set-up service to their customers for a nominal fee. Please check with your local retailer to find out if this is a service they offer, and if they charge for the service.

At Giant we strive to support independent retailers who in turn represent the Giant brand at all levels.
Unfortunately, we are not able to have a Giant retailer in every community.

What is our Warranty Policy?

To help resolve any Warranty and product related issues that you may have as fast as possible, we've put together a list of frequently asked questions - please take the time to read the FAQ's below before reaching out to Giant Australia directly.

If you can't find the answer here - please contact your local Authorised Giant Retailer. Your local Authorised Giant Retailer is extremely knowledgeable with vast experience of Giant products and in the majority of cases they will be able to resolve the issue or answer your question quickly.

Please note that if you have a question that requires a physical inspection, Giant cannot answer this via our social media channels or email so please take your bicycle, gear item or component back to your local Authorised Giant Retailer for them to examine.

We also ask that any questions relating to quality, function or setup that you talk to your local Authorised Giant Retailer because these tend to need a hands on approach to find a satisfactory answer or solution.

What is the warranty on my Giant bicycle?
Please refer to your Giant Owner’s manual - depending on the year you purchased your bicycle and depending on which model you have will dictate what your warranty is.

How do I make a warranty claim?
With all warranty claims please take your bicycle or gear item to your local Authorised Giant Retailer with the proof of purchase - all claims must be made through an Authorised Giant Retailer.

I am unhappy with the quality of my Giant bicycle - what can I do?
We are of course disappointed to hear this but in our experience if you take your bicycle back to your local Authorised Giant Retailer, we will make every effort to address the matter and come to a satisfactory resolution for you.

If I make a warranty claim - will I receive the same frame?
Giant will endeavour to replace like for like but cannot always guarantee we will be able to replace with the exact frame in its original colour way. Giant will of course replace with the best available option to the same specification or better but this does mean from time to time that colour ways may differ from the original.

 

Current Recall Information

2016 Rivet TT helmet recall

In April of 2016 the Giant Rivet TT performance road helmet was recalled due to the required compliance warning label inside the helmet having insufficient adhesion potentially resulting in the sticker becoming partially or completely detached from the helmet surface. 2015 SR Suntour suspension fork recall

These affected forks were fitted as original equipment on full bicycles sold by a number of major brands including Giant. The affected Giant models are some 2015 Enchant 1, Enchant 2 and ATX 2 bicycles.

Various Giant and Liv bicycle model recall January 2017

Giant conducted a voluntary recall relating to the below mentioned 6 models from our current and previous ranges of bicycles sold in Australia. The recall relates to handlebar width and/or bicycles without a chain guard. What is our Return Policy?

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, unless otherwise indicated on this Website as a “nonreturnable” item, within 30 days following delivery, you may return a Product for a full refund of the purchase price (not including any applicable initial shipping and handling charges), so long as any such Product is in new, unused and undamaged condition, with original packaging, and the original price and information tag(s) have not been removed, and subject to the following:

  1. Products (Other Than Bicycles): Please return the product to the Authorised Giant retailer where you collected the goods from initially with your original proof of purchase. Any merchandise that shows signs of use (wear, dirt, smell, scuffing, mounting, installation, etc.) cannot be returned. This includes any items that have been “tested out”. Items for which the packaging has been destroyed are not returnable. Assuming the returned goods meet the outlined above, the retailer will notify Giant to begin the refund process.
  2. Bicycles Only: Bring your order, with original proof of purchase, to the local Authorised Giant retailer who assembled your bicycle. You may be eligible for a full refund of the purchase price so long as any such bicycle is like-new and undamaged. Bicycle(s) that show sign(s) of being ridden, including, but not limited to, dirty tires or grips, worn brake pads, scuffed crank arms may not be returned.

Unless otherwise noted, the refund will be for the full value of the returned items. Shipping fees if applicable will not be refunded. Credit for the returned items is applied to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase. Returns will be inspected by the authorised Giant retailer within 72 hours of receipt and depending on your credit card company it may take an additional 2-10 business days before a credit is processed to your card. Please note: the authorised Giant retailer cannot process the refund directly, it must be processed by Giant via the same online method as purchased.

How Do I find Bicycle Specifications?

To find information, such as specifications, colours, etc. regarding older model Giant bicycles, visit the Archives page. The Archives page link can be found in the footer of the website or by clicking here.

Some bicycle models come with pedals and/or a kickstand as standard equipment, while some do not. Please check the online specifications list for the bikes you are interested in to see if they do.

Does Giant take trade ins?

Unfortunately, we are unable to take trade-ins. Check with a local authorised Giant retailer to see if they are able to assist you.

How much does this bike weigh?

It’s a common question, and the truth is there are no industry standards for claiming bike weights—and this leads to a lot of misinformation. Variances exist based on size, frame material, finish and hardware. As bikes get lighter, these differences become more critical. At Giant, we believe the only way to truly know the weight of any particular bike is to find out for yourself at your local authorised Giant retailer.

Apparel:

Giant and Liv bikes, along with most apparel on our website, have sizing charts below the item’s highlights/ features. These charts are designed to provide guidelines in picking the right size bike and gear. If you have any questions regarding sizing and want to try before you buy, we encourage you to visit your local authorised Giant retailer. Your local retailer will not only be able to help find the right size bicycle and gear to fit your unique needs, but they will also be a resource for all of your riding needs: Where to ride, what to wear, riding groups, what to eat and how to enjoy your ride to the fullest.

Donations, sponsorships, or promotions

We recommend contacting your local Giant or Liv Retailer for any donations, sponsorships, or promotional opportunities. We are extremely proud to be a charity partner of the KIDS Foundation.

The KIDS Foundation is currently a small, but effective, injury prevention and recovery charity that has been operating since 1993, directly reaching more than 30,000 children and families each year. They protect, educate and empower. Their mission is to keep children safe and create a better life for those living with serious injury and burns.

Through KIDS Injury Prevention they prepare, sustain and educate children to manage risk throughout their lives. Through KIDS Injury Recovery they support young people to cope with the physical and emotional after-effects of living with burns and other life-changing injuries.

The objectives of KIDS Foundation are to:

• Protect against preventable injuries by developing safety risk intelligence

• Educate children to manage injury risks throughout their lives

• Empower their people in building self-worth, well-being, resilience and leadership
