Powerful motor support, rider input and rough terrain place heavy demands on the hub. To handle those forces, the WheelSystem uses 3D-printed titanium ratchet rings that combine high strength, low weight and corrosion resistance. The design delivers a 20% strength increase over the previous generation, with excellent fatigue resistance for high-torque operation.

The hub features an industry-leading 72-tooth Helical-Bevel Ratchet system, engineered for fast engagement and efficient power transfer under the high-torque demands of aggressive trail, enduro and E-MTB riding. A tighter bearing gap creates a compact, stable internal structure that helps reduce wear, while dual toothed discs engage quickly and evenly to distribute force more consistently under heavy loads. A 10° helical interface between the hub and ratchet rings helps reduce component stress while maintaining consistent torque transfer. The 72-tooth ratchet design delivers immediate response and precise power delivery when every pedal stroke counts.

When a wheel strikes a sharp edge at speed, pinch flats and rim damage can occur. Refined Wide Guard technology broadens the contact point between rim and tire with a strong 5mm sidewall, while the curved rim profile improves obstacle rollover and helps reduce impact forces on the tire and rim.
