Teams/Riders

We’re happy to announce that we’ve signed American first-year professional Caleb Swartz to campaign the 2021-2022 American professional cyclo-cross schedule aboard the Giant TCX Advanced Pro frameset. Caleb is also racing with the Rev Pro Mips helmet. Caleb graduated to the pro ranks after racing both the XC and CX discipline for the Bear Development Team, and for Team USA at international events. While he developed an affinity for endurance off-road racing, Caleb counts himself first as a CX specialist and is aiming toward representing the US at the upcoming UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas this coming January.

RACING ON THE TCX ADVANCED PRO

“It’s been really special to be able to graduate to this level and to line up and battle with the top European and American elites already in the early season. The 'cross scene in the US is experiencing a renaissance, now with GCN covering the bigger races, a good schedule and of course World’s in Arkansas next year," Caleb says.

"The TCX has proven to be a very crisp machine in both dry and wet conditions. The high BB lets me pedal through tight terrain. It’s super light and nimble, tracking the lines I’m hunting for. This thing ‘kicks’ too: power in is power out.  The TCX shoulders well and even though we’re talking about a race bike, there’s a welcome level of comfort – it’s not bucking me. I’ve had the chance to get it muddy and the extra clearances minimize pack-up issues,” Caleb said.

We’re excited to forge a partnership with Caleb as he steps into a pro CX career and provide him with a proper, purpose-built CX race tool, the TCX Advanced Pro.
