Here’s the perfect recipe for a high-performance XC dream machine. Start with a superlight Advanced-grade composite chassis featuring new geometry designed for fast-rolling 29-inch wheels, 90mm of rear suspension travel, and 100mm up front. Add the most updated Maestro suspension system, including the new trunnion mount shock for a supple feel and improved pedaling efficiency, plus the super light and stiff Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm. Plus Boost hub spacing for stiffer wheels to give you more control on technical terrain. Put it all together, and you get the Anthem Advanced 29, a next-generation XC crusher that’s loaded with smooth-rolling stability and confidence for fast, technical terrain.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages work together to create a single floating pivot point for the most active, efficient suspension system.
High-performance grade raw carbon fiber and custom resin is used to produce this high-quality frame in Giant’s own composite factory. Handcrafted monocoque construction makes it extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant.
Updated “long and low” XC frame geometry is tailored for 29-inch wheels to optimize control, acceleration and stability.
Wider hub spacing (110mm front/148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tire clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance.
A state-of-the-art, high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex shaped carbon-fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar aluminum components.
New shock mount produces a lower leverage ratio for increased pedaling and braking efficiency, plus a lower center of gravity and shorter chainstays for improved handling, climbing and agility.
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Engineered with proprietary Dynamic Balanced Lacing technology, Giant’s all-new XCR Composite WheelSystem delivers superior efficiency, pinpoint control and engineered durability.
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminum. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
