MIPS 多向衝擊防護系統

MIPS 是什麼 MIPS (Multi-direction Impact Protection System)多向衝擊保護系統，是一種革命性的技術，將MIPS浮動減震層設置於安全帽內襯的位置，在受到側向角度撞擊的時候，減震層會在安全帽內部相對於頭部滑動，增強了更多保護，對抗斜向撞擊而產生的旋轉力。 MIPS是如何發揮作用的大腦週圍包覆有一層可做緩衝的腦脊液，當頭部受到撞擊時可以吸收衝擊力保護大腦，MIPS就是複製了這個概念，透過這塊低摩擦層，使撞擊發生時，提供各個方向10~15MM的位移空間，保護頭部的安全。為什麼需要MIPS 當撞擊發生，安全帽會以某個角度撞擊地面，此時若摩擦力夠高，安全帽與頭部會開始旋轉，而這個突然的旋轉運動將使大腦移動，導致大腦的拉伸、扭曲或撕裂，而MIPS獨特的設計就是試圖減低此旋轉運動對大腦的衝擊。強化安全 MIPS能夠吸收及轉移來自撞擊時產生的旋轉力，降低對大腦的衝擊增強保護力完美整合與安全帽完全融合，以及極輕量的設計(視尺寸與款式25~45克)，在不影響外觀下達到更的高安全防護測試驗證相較於國際測試標準(單向衝擊測試)，MIPS模擬真實狀擊加入多角度衝擊測試，收集超過2.7萬則測試數據，找出每一款安全帽全尺寸最完美的防護機制。
