Warren Rossiter, Senior Technical Editor Road for BikeRadar, detailed all the technical features on the Revolt Advanced, and wrote up his impressions for how it performed on the road. “As a package, the Revolt offers pretty much everything I’d desire from an all-rounder,” he wrote of his Revolt Advanced 0 test model.
Rossiter said he was particularly impressed with the added compliance of the D-Fuse seatpost and handlebars: “Plugged into the seat tube is Giant’s D-Fuse seatpost, its D cross-section allowing a degree of flex without sacrificing stiffness. The Revolt really comes into its own on rutted roads, the smoothing back-end matched up front by the bar’s ability to deaden buzz.”
Summing it up, BikeRadar called the Revolt Advanced “a wonderfully capable go-anywhere machine.”
