With a lightweight aluminum frame that blends classic hardtail design with modern E-bike technology, Talon E+ 29 delivers comfort and confidence on off-road terrain. Perfect for bike paths or XC trails, it features a SyncDrive Core motor system that makes those hard climbs easier and encourages you to extend your ride time. It’s designed for a 100mm suspension fork to smooth out the bumps, and its 29-inch wheels give it a stable, balanced ride quality. The side-release EnergyPak battery is integrated into the frame and can be easily removed for charging. And the RideControl ONE control lets you adjust settings as you ride.

Aluxx Aluminum Frame
This state-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. The frameset also features unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.

Hybrid Cycling Technology
This innovative system combines electric power with human power to produce a smart, natural and powerful E-bike riding experience. It’s an integrated group of technologies that includes our RideControl control unit, EnergyPak battery systems and SyncDrive Pro motor.

SyncDrive Core Motor
SyncDrive Core is a compact and lightweight motor. It has Smart Assist technology, featuring six sensors including slope detection and an accelerometer. These sensors allow the motor to produce power based on rider input and terrain, so there is no need to select a certain assist mode.

RideControl One
RideControl ONE offers optimized controls and a clean handlebar layout. The robust buttons are designed to use in all conditions with a comfortable feel and grip. The controls are thoughtfully designed with new LED lighting that shows your battery level and support.

Smart Assist
Six smart sensors precisely measure the power being applied to the pedals so the motor can provide just the right amount of assistance to create a natural, powerful riding experience. This helps optimize energy efficiency for both the rider and the battery system.

RideControl App
RideControl ONE can wirelessly connect with the Giant E-bike App so your smart phone can function as a display for ride data and system updates.

EnergyPak
This integrated battery system is positioned within the downtube of the frame. Continuous communication between the battery and charger provides fast charging. Batteries can charge up to 80 percent in 2.2 hours.

Suspension Fork
100mm of travel up front helps smooth out rough trails so you can ride with greater confidence and control.
