BikeRadar published a review of the 2019 TCR Advanced Pro Disc, calling the composite road machine “a stunner” and giving it a near-perfect score of 4.5 (out of 5) stars.
“It’s light, lively and has great comfort levels for a race bike,” wrote BikeRadar’s senior technical road editor Warren Rossiter. “The TCR is firm, but it’s damn fast too, and the excellent SLR 1 deep-section carbon wheels, set up with plush tubeless Gavia AC1 tires, deliver a simply superb ride.”
Rossiter also had favorable things to write about the components: “The bike is finished with a great cockpit from Giant’s own Contact SL range, a stiff stem and a great ovalized-profile compact drop bar. The bar’s teardrop-shape tops offer a great handhold for prolonged climbs and the transition between tops and hoods gives bags of clearance when riding in the drops.”
