Getting your child on and off a Mac Ride
Before you set off on family E-bike adventures, it’s important to practice getting a child on and off the Mac Ride. The more you practice, the easier it becomes. There are several ways to get a child on and off the Mac Ride, outlined here:
Getting on the Mac Ride
There are several ways to get your child on a Mac Ride. It depends also on the child’s age and what type of Giant E-bike you are riding. Always make sure the child’s safety comes first.
For older kids, there are a couple ways to get on the Mac Ride.
- Lower your E-bike with a Mac Ride to the ground. 2. Have the child step over the top tube into the Mac Ride foot clamps
- Tilt your E-bike with the child seated already
- Make sure his feet are strapped into the pedals and he is seated safely
- Mount the E-bike and start riding
The second method for older children is to use a bench or something a bit higher to make stepping up easier.
- Keep your E-bike in a natural upright position, close to a bench or other stable object
- Let the child step over the top tube and onto the pedals
- Strap the child’s feet
- Make sure you hold the E-bike steady
- Mount the E-bike and start riding
If the child is younger, you can get him or her on the E-bike by lifting them up. Make sure you hold the E-bike firmly.
