Built for XC riders who demand race-winning performance, this limited edition is built from the same DNA as the machine Alan Hatherly rode to a 2025 world championship title. Along with an exclusive graphic treatment, it's the first bike to feature the new CADEX Max XC WheelSystem for superior transmission stiffness, durability, and lateral rigidity. It’s explosive, precise, and ready to rail XC terrain.

Key Performance Factors

TOTAL CONTROL

The new FlexPoint Pro suspension delivers 120mm of smooth, active rear travel paired with a 120mm fork, helping you fly down rough descents and power up technical climbs. A flip chip lets you fine-tune handling for all types of XC terrain. The superlight CADEX Max XC WheelSystem with Wide Guard rim technology and robust 5mm-thick sidewalls allows lower tire pressures for greater control and puncture protection.

LOW-LATENCY SPEED CONCEPT

A fully reengineered composite frameset is 89g lighter with an 8.64% percent greater stiffness-to-weight ratio to help you power up climbs and make every watt count. The WheelSystem and integrated handlebar/stem unit is designed for maximum efficiency and instantaneous response to rider input. The rear shock is repositioned and semi-integrated with the top tube, shaving weight and creating space for a second water bottle cage.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

The Contact SLR XC integrated composite handlebar/stem unit adds compliance to reduce shocks and vibrations, giving you better control and hand comfort. Its geometry is optimized for XC racing with a -8° stem angle, 9° back-sweep, and 2° up-sweep. It features clean cable routing and versatile sizing with a 780mm standard width and multiple stem length options ranging from 60-80mm.

Techs & Features

Advanced SL Composite Technology

Professional Grade raw carbon fiber is woven in our composite factory to produce our lightest, stiffest and highest quality frames. This is the technology used by Giant’s pro racers in almost every cycling discipline.

Advanced Forged Composite Technology

A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminum. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.

FlexPoint Pro Suspension Technology

Developed as a superlight rear suspension setup for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, FlexPoint Pro is a linkage-driven, single-pivot system that delivers 100mm of rear-wheel travel. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.

MegaDrive

A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.

OverDrive

Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

PowerCore

A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
