Introducing: Anthem Advanced Pro 29 World Champion Edition Frameset

1 de junho de 2020

Last September, Colombian cross-country racer Leonardo Páez rode his Giant Anthem Advanced Pro 29 XC bike to the biggest win of his career at the 2019 UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in Grächen, Switzerland. Now, Giant is celebrating Páez’s victory with a special limited-edition replica frameset available for purchase.

The Anthem Advanced Pro 29 World Champion edition frameset is a superlight full-suspension XC chassis that’s engineered with Advanced Composite material, progressive XC race geometry, and the perfect balance of 29er speed and stability.

The frameset features Giant’s updated Maestro rear suspension system with an Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm and a 90mm trunnion-mount shock that has a lower leverage ratio for efficient pedaling and braking performance. The linkage allows for shorter chainstays, which improves the bike’s climbing capabilities and overall agility. The frame comes equipped with a Fox DPS Factory shock with remote lockout.

This is Paez’s bike of choice for technical XC racetracks. “The Anthem Advanced Pro 29 is the bike I choose most of the time,” he says. “It gives me control and stability on technical descents, and it’s especially good in rocky terrain.”

The special Anthem Advanced Pro 29 World Champion edition frameset features a unique design. It has a gloss black finish with bold splashes of blue, red, yellow and green that represent the colors of the UCI world champion’s rainbow jersey. The 37-year-old Colombian, who races for the Italy-based Team Giant-Liv Polimedical, is known to fans as Lion Paez, a reference to the strong, powerful mountain lions native to his home country.

The Anthem Advanced Pro 29 World Champion edition frameset will be available in select markets. For more information, click here.
