From those first thrilling moments of pedaling on dirt to gaining confidence, building skills, and learning to master bike parks and jumps, the new STP range is built for progression.

Blending the dynamic handling of a dirt jump bike with the rugged capabilities of a mountain bike, the STP range includes three series—each with a different wheel size—to help young riders evolve and expand their capabilities.

STP 20 FS

STP 20

Dirt skills start here. With a lightweight aluminum frame that has a low stand-over height, a smooth-riding composite fork, and 20-inch wheels, the new STP 20 gives kids the confidence and maneuverability they need to start leaning into the turns, shifting their weight, and popping some air. It’s all the things that make riding fun.

STP 24

STP 24

Made to help young riders have fun and show off their skills, this mini dirt shredder features a purpose-built aluminum frame and 100mm suspension fork with 24-inch wheels. Trail-worthy MTB components including hydraulic brakes and a dropper seatpost add to its capabilities, giving kids what they need to follow their dirt dreams.

STP 26

STP 26

Rail the corner, boost a jump, give it a go on that tricky line. The all-new STP 26 is built for pushing limits. With its lightweight, super strong ALUXX aluminum frame, 100mm Marzocchi Bomber DJ fork, and 26-inch Giant TRA 2 wheels, it’s rugged and ready for takeoff.

KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS

FIT FOR YOUTH

The frame’s low stand-over height offers greater balance and stability with a lower center of gravity. Smaller wheel diameters, shorter cranks, and sized-down cockpit components make for smooth pedaling and easier handling, while a dropper seatpost on the STP 24 makes it easy to adjust riding position on the fly.

  • STP 20: For riders 110-130cm tall with 20-inch wheels
  • STP 24: For riders 125-145cm tall with 24-inch wheels

GREATER CONTROL

The STP 24 features a Crest TR Comp Lite 100mm suspension fork for a smooth, controlled ride. The smaller STP 20 series has two models: the STP 20 FS with a SR Suntour XCT Jr. 63mm suspension fork and the STP 20 with a lightweight composite fork. All models come with a Grit Core Lite saddle, smaller diameter handlebars and hydraulic disc brakes with lighter modulation to give young riders greater confidence and control.

PLAYFUL AGILITY

A lightweight, durable ALUXX aluminum frame makes the STP 20 & 24 easy to maneuver. A shorter wheelbase and chainstays add a playful feel and make it easier to lift the front wheel while riding.

YOUTH-OPTIMIZED TECHNOLOGY

The STP 20 and 24 feature purpose-built technologies for lighter weights, smaller frames, and developing abilities. From dirt jump-inspired geometry to components that are fine-tuned for young hands and bodies, it's all designed to accelerate progression and keep the fun factor high.

ENHANCED STABILITY

An increased bottom bracket drop creates a lower center of gravity and shorter cranks help prevent pedal strikes.

  • STP 20: 50mm BB drop + 105mm crank length
  • STP 24: 40mm BB drop + 140mm crank length

Low stand-over height for easy mounting and greater balance

  • STP 20: 536mm
  • STP 24: 629mm

EASY TO LIFT OFF AND MANEUVER

Shorter chainstays make it easy to shift body weight while riding jumps or  pump tracks.

  • STP 20: 323mm (-42 vs previous STP 20)
  • STP 24: 375mm (-35 vs previous STP 24)

A shorter wheelbase adds playful maneuvering for skill progression.

  • STP 20: 821mm (-66 vs previous STP 20)
  • STP 24: 975mm (-3.3 vs previous STP 24)

CREST TR COMP LITE SUSPENSION FORK

This 100mm suspension fork on the STP 24 is designed specifically for lighter riders (26-46kg). It has a low-friction chassis and tuned damper that makes it sensitive to small bumps and also quicker rebound action for dirt jumping.

CONTACT SWITCH AT LITE DROPPER SEATPOST

Featured on the STP 24, this dropper post is ideal for smaller riders. It requires less weight to lower the saddle and makes lever engagement easier. Adjustable travel caters to a variety of rider heights and a rotating cable actuator makes installation on smaller frames a breeze.

TRA 2 Wheels with Wide Guard

Strong, lightweight alloy rims with robust 5mm wide, rounded-edge sidewalls for impact protection. The rim design also lets you run lower tire pressures for greater control while minimizing the risk of tire punctures.

GRIT CORE LITE SADDLE

Designed for compact riders using a crowned shape to enhance pedaling space, and a raised rear section for optimal support. An ergonomic center cut-out improves comfort, helping young riders tackle longer rides.

BRAKES & SHIFTERS

Hydraulic brakes with shorter travel levers are tuned with lighter modulation compared to adult brakes. This results in greater control and traction on dirt surfaces. MicroShift Acolyte levers offer intuitive controls—the index finger for a harder gear, the thumb for an easier gear—and a clear gear indicator to make shifting simple.

DRIVETRAIN

A 1X drivetrain featuring shorter cranks (105mm on STP 20 and 140mm on STP 24), a 30-tooth chainring, and a wide 11-38 gear range helps young riders conquer hilly terrain with optimal pedaling cadences. A shorter rear derailleur cage also improves ground clearance.

The STP's ALUXX frame is crafted from Giant’s proprietary RK6061 recycled aluminum alloy with 90–100% pre-consumer recycled aluminum. This material maximizes raw material efficiency and reduces waste, while offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and weldability. Each batch undergoes rigorous testing for welding, fatigue, and impact performance to ensure mechanical strength and structural integrity.
