Go beyond city limits and discover new adventures. The new Explore E+ makes it easy with a powerful new SyncDrive motor that delivers ample power output and smooth acceleration. Its EnergyPak battery system features innovative cell technology that allows the system to run cooler, giving you greater range capabilities.

Innovative touches abound on the Explore E+, including integrated cable routing. The cables and wires are cleanly tucked away, running below the stem and through the head tube, which protects them from damage and offers a clean and tidy profile. The Explore E+ also features Smart Assist, an adaptive support mode that uses six sensors to determine the precise amount of pedaling support needed on variable terrain.

Longer Range

The powerful SyncDrive motor and high capacity EnergyPak battery makes long bike tours and even the steepest climbs a breeze.

The Explore E+ models utilize the SyncDrive Sport2 motor with 75 Nm of torgue and maximum support of 400%. These models come with a 625 Wh EnergyPak battery but can easily be upgraded to the EnergyPak 800.

For maximum long-distance endurance the Explore E+ can be retrofitted with an EnergyPak Plus battery. It provides an additional 240 Wh capacity.

Smooth Ride Quality

Wherever you want to go, the Explore E+ is ready to roll. Its ALUXX aluminium frameset gives it a smooth and confident ride with stable handling. It’s equally adept at tackling rough city streets or longer weekend adventures. Front suspension has been upgraded over the previous generation, increasing travel from 63mm to 100mm of travel to soak up potholes and bumps on rough roads or dirt. And new wider 57mm give it a confident, grippy ride.

Highly Capable Trekker

Beyond its motor, frameset and standard components, the Explore E+ also has some special features that make it a highly capable trekker and a great choice for longer adventures. A trailer mount at the rear dropout makes it easy to pull additional cargo. The mount is designed for simple setup with no proprietary axles or converters, and it’s compatible with trailers from leading brands including Thule, Bluebird and Qeridoo. Semi-integrated lights front and rear, improve visibility at night and in low-light conditions.
