New EnergyPak 400 battery is designed to be ultra slim. You get all the power but in a smaller package that’s cleanly integrated with the composite frameset.
RideControl Ergo 3 remote attaches to the all-new composite Giant Contact SLR integrated handlebar. The control can be mounted to either side of the handlebar so you can customize your controls for a clean, uncluttered cockpit.
New SyncDrive Pro motor, co-developed with Yamaha, puts out a powerful 85Nm of torque and weighs just 2.7kg. The result is quicker acceleration and climbing capabilities on technical trails.
How far can I expect to ride on a single battery charge?
The range for a single battery charge can vary greatly depending on conditions such as the combined weight of the rider and cargo; wind resistance; tire pressure and tread profile; terrain and elevation changes; road or trail surface; outdoor temperature; maintenance of the E-Bike; and the condition of the battery.
The bar below gives an approximate range. Conditions are categorized as extreme, good and ideal. Extreme conditions typically occur when riding with a heavy load, strong headwinds or excessive climbs.

All-new composite frame features adjustable geometry with a new flip chip feature. The SyncDrive Pro 2 motor delivers 85Nm of torque for a seamless boost of power even at low speeds and on technical trails. The new composite Giant Contact SLR Trail integrated handlebar has a sleek design for precision off-road control. It comes with two control centers, the RideControl Go multifunctional on/off button on the top tube, and the new RideControl Ergo 3 handlebar-mounted remote.
This integrated group of technologies forms the operating system of every Giant E-bike. The user-friendly components—including the motor, control unit and battery pack—function as part of an overarching system that seamlessly combines electric power with human power to produce a smart, natural and powerful ride experience.
High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
A flip chip lets you switch between two settings depending on riding style and terrain. You can change the headtube and seattube angles, along with the bottom bracket height, to fine-tune the handling.
Ultra-slim battery uses breakthrough technologies to deliver 400Wh of power in a highly efficient and lightweight 2.3kg system. You get all the power, but in a smaller package that’s cleanly integrated with the composite frameset.
Co-developed with Yamaha and optimized to work with our Maestro suspension, this compact motor is now lighter (2.7kg) with increased torque output (up to 85Nm) and significantly reduced noise levels.
Six smart sensors precisely measure the power being applied to the pedals so the motor can provide just the right amount of assistance to create a natural, powerful riding experience. This helps optimize energy efficiency for both the rider and the battery system.
New handlebar remote can be mounted on the left or right side for a clean cockpit layout. You also have the option to add a second remote, providing an additional three buttons. Configure the buttons with the RideControl app to fully customize your controls.
New top-tube integrated, multi-function on/off button can power on the E-bike quickly and easily. It can also be used to change the motor settings.
A 27.5-inch rear wheel and 29-inch front wheel setup offers the best of both worlds: the stability and roll-over capabilities of a larger-diameter front wheel and the quick handling qualities of a shorter rear end.
A powerful, convenient way to charge your E-bike with a compact shape that makes it easy to carry. Continuous communication between the battery and charger optimize charging conditions to extend battery life. The storage mode can be activated to charge your battery to 60%, an ideal capacity for long-term storage.
Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. SyncDrive Pro powered by Yamaha is designed for high-performance E-bike riding. Giant tuned the motor to make it more powerful, producing a performance-oriented riding style. The lightweight, compact SyncDrive Pro motor is used primarily on Giant’s high-performance models.
All SyncDrive motors have Smart Assist technology, which adjusts the support to match the rider’s needs. By using information from multiple sensors, both rider input and terrain feedback are used to determine the optimal amount of pedaling assistance. SyncDrive is the only e-bike system that utilizes both rider input and terrain feedback. It gives you a smooth, natural riding experience with ample power when you need it, while also conserving power when you don’t need as much.
Giant’s latest EnergyPak battery systems feature streamlined designs that are integrated with the E-bike for a sleek and modern profile. Giant E-bikes offer several different EnergyPak options including the EnergyPak Smart and EnergyPak. Each one is designed to optimize the E-bike experience for a specific style of riding.
Available on premium Giant E-Bikes, RideControl Go features a multipurpose button integrated into the top tube. Colored LEDs allow you to switch power modes from the top tube and keep a clean handlebar setup. The lights also display battery level and support mode.
This updated control system features clean buttons that are integrated with the handlebar grips. You can install the three-button control on the left or right side, making it easy to switch power modes. You also have the option of adding a second control on the other side. Using the RideControl App, you can configure it to your own personal preferences.
The flip chip allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better suit how and where they ride. It lets riders change the headtube/seattube angles and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-position) hardware located on the upper rocker arm.
