Bike Technologies & Features

Giant optimized reinforced layup places extra maximum-strength carbon fiber only where needed, creating a robust structure at minimal weight.

This range extender can boost total capacity by 280Wh. This gives you the choice—lighter weight for everyday rides or longer range for epic ride days.

This all-new technology allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry and choose a rear wheel size (29-inch or 27.5-inch) for their riding style and terrain. It’s available on select Maestro-equipped mountain bikes. The adjustment affects head tube and seat tube angles, bottom bracket height, and rear-wheel size using eccentric flip chip hardware located on the upper rocker arm of the rear suspension.

A quick and simple adjustment on the new Glory Advanced lets you fine tune your bike for the way you ride. A two-position flip chip located on the rear dropout changes the rear-center measurement so racers can get the best performance out of the bike depending on their riding style and terrain.

This new three-position flip chip at the headset area of the Glory Advanced lets riders quickly fine-tune cockpit dimensions and geometry for their riding style and terrain.

The integrated vector seatpost saves weight compared to standard composite posts, while improving aerodynamics and adding road-smoothing compliance.
Tecnologías y Características de las E-Bike

Integrated 560Wh battery pack powers a 48-volt system that produces more power with less heat and stress on the battery cells. Exceptionally durable, it delivers up to 2300 full charge cycles—more than any other E-bike battery—and recharges rapidly, reaching 80% battery capacity in as little as two hours.

The updated RideControl App expands the existing customization options for your SyncDrive motor. Now you choose exactly how you want the system to perform. You can use the app to adjust from the battery-saving Eco mode all the way up to Power mode, and collect all relevant ride metrics during your activity.

This new control unit is optimized for city and trekking bikes that don’t have front derailleur or dropper seatpost levers on the handlebar. It’s optimized for ergonomics, with larger buttons that are easy to reach. LEDs indicating battery level and support mode make it a standalone control unit that doesn’t require a display. A smaller 6mm connector makes it possible to have internal handlebar cable routing.

This updated control system features clean buttons that are integrated with the handlebar grips. You can install the three-button control on the left or right side, making it easy to switch power modes. You also have the option of adding a second control on the other side. Using the RideControl App, you can configure it to your own personal preferences.

The new RideControl Ergo 4 builds on the previous generation Ergo 3 with a sleek, grip-integrated 3-button remote control unit. It blends seamlessly with your handlebar and grips and has a larger, more concave shape and improved tactile feedback.

This updated motor features a magnesium casing that reduces weight to just 2.5kg while still delivering 85Nm of torque and retaining the instant engagement that characterizes SyncDrive Pro motors. It’s also engineered for a reduced noise level and quiet performance. The motor shape and dimensions allow for a narrow Q factor to ensure a natural pedaling position with minimal strain on the knees.

Powerful new 48-volt system delivers up to 800 watts of peak power while producing less heat and motor stress—improving efficiency to give you more peak power for longer. You can tune and adjust torque and support levels to match your ride. Choose full power for steep climbs, or dial it back to save energy on long rides.

The SyncDrive Pro 2 motor delivers 85Nm of torque and up to 400% support. Powered by a 36V system, it runs cooler and more efficient, blending seamlessly with rider input for lasting, responsive performance on any terrain.

The compact SyncDrive Sport 2 motor delivers 75Nm of torque tuned for trail riding. It features Smart Assist mode, which uses six sensors to measure your pedaling input, cadence and speed, along with the slope you’re riding on. Based on these calculations, it produces power that feels naturally supportive and in sync with the way you ride. The motor’s compact shape also allows for a narrow Q-factor for optimized pedaling efficiency, comfort and biomechanics.

This rear hub motor delivers up to 30Nm of pedal assistance in a lightweight, quiet system. It features 3 support levels (Power, Active, Eco) to help riders climb hills with less effort. It also features Smart Assist technology, which uses five sensors to determine the exact amount of pedaling support needed for a smooth, natural riding experience.

The new SyncDrive Move Plus motor delivers 30Nm of torque, which is comparable to 75Nm of torque in a mid-drive motor—all in a lightweight, quiet system that’s fully integrated into the rear hub. It features five support levels plus Smart Assist technology, which can automatically adjust pedaling support without having to change settings while riding. The motor uses sensors to constantly adjust output based on advanced algorithms.
Gear Technologies & Features

Giant is committed to cycling for a better future. We know the trail to reaching net zero is a long and challenging one, which is why we are leading the way with innovative solutions. We are reinventing how we work with manufacturing partners and investing in new technologies to help reduce our overall environmental impact. Our Enviro Mark tells this story of transformation. When you see this symbol, you’re seeing a product that’s designed with the planet in mind, including recycled materials and more sustainable manufacturing processes.

More compact compared to a traditional road cycling pad to provide freedom of movement on transitions from road to off-road.

Featuring multi-directional curvature and a smooth surface, it provides a great fit, enhanced stability and as well as gradual transition areas. The central channel is engineered according to specific anthropometrical parameters that support male anatomy while in saddle, relieving pressure and favoring blood flow.

When your wheel hits a sharp or square edge, especially at speed, pinch flats and rim damage can occur. Wide Guard technology minimizes this risk by broadening the contact point between the rim and tire with a solid 5mm rim sidewall. That means you can skip the heavy tire inserts to have less unsprung weight on your bike and allow your suspension to perform better. The wide sidewalls also better protect your wheel from big impacts, reducing the possibility of rim damage.

When engagement force was applied to determine how many cycles a hub can withstand before showing signs of significant wear, the TRX HE hub was five times more durable compared to benchmark competitors.

Mips Air Node™ is a super light and slim helmet security system that moves 10-15 mm in relation to the helmet’s energy-absorbing layer, reducing the rotational forces that are otherwise transmitted to the brain during impact. Fully integrated into the helmet’s padding, Mips Air Node™ is as light as possible and designed to fit each individual helmet model and size, making it virtually invisible until needed.

Magnetic Fidlock® helmet buckles are intuitive, pinch-free and can be opened or closed with one hand, even while wearing gloves.

The MIK (Mounting is Key) rack system is a revolutionary key installed rack system that locks your bag to your bike rack, making it hard for thieves to steal but easy for you to remove.

Power training shouldn’t be a mystery to be solved only by the pros with expensive equipment. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to read, the all-new Power Halo is bringing metric-based training to all riders.

Enhanced security and anti-theft feature using Apple Find My function lets you set up separation alerts, locate your E-bike remotely, and receive notifications if its location changes. Apple Find My privacy protections ensure that your location information is encrypted on Apple servers and retained for only 24 hours.
Allows you to lock and unlock your E-bike using the RideControl App or by entering a PIN code on the controller. Once locked, pedaling assistance is blocked and the display shows the E-bike in lock status. If someone attempts to move the bike, the alarm is triggered.

In collaboration with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Virginia Tech Helmet lab tests helmets using the STAR evaluation system. The impact tests evaluate a helmet's ability to reduce linear acceleration and rotational velocity of the head resulting from a range of impacts a cyclist might experience. Helmets with more stars provide a reduction in concussion risk for these impacts, with 4 and 5 star ratings being the most highly recommended. Read more.
