The new Trinity Advanced SL is built on an Advanced SL-grade composite frame and fork that’s 558g lighter than the previous generation. It features new disc brake integration for greater control along with added compliance in the armrests and seatpost to help absorb bumps and vibrations. The front end of the bike is totally redesigned with more armrest adjustments for stack, reach, angle and width, while a wider range of seatpost offset options allows the rider to dial in a powerful, comfortable pedaling position.

As the latest generation of one of the most accomplished aerodynamic bicycles ever to compete in triathlon and time trialing, the Trinity Advanced SL is tailored for those who aim to excel on race day.

 

With overall participation in triathlons experiencing significant growth, courses increasing in complexity, and race times becoming faster, Giant set out to engineer a bike that meets the evolving demands of today’s athletes. The new Trinity Advanced SL reflects Giant’s commitment to advancing cycling, engineering a frameset that combines efficiency, power, and adjustability with exceptional comfort and performance for every rider striving for excellence.

 

Lighter weight
The Advanced SL-grade composite frame (upgraded from Advanced-grade composite), combined with refinements to the paint, seatpost, fueling system, and handlebars, reduces the weight of the new Trinity Advanced SL by 558 grams compared to its predecessor, making it the lightest Trinity yet.

Stiffness and efficiency
The new Trinity Advanced SL achieves a 12% improvement in efficiency while maintaining the same stiffness as the original model. Feedback from athletes confirmed that the original Trinity’s stiffness provided optimal steering, sprinting, and pedaling performance, so Giant focused on reducing weight to enhance overall efficiency without compromising the bike’s exceptional handling and power transfer.

Disc brakes
The new Trinity Advanced SL upgrades from rim brakes to disc brakes, offering superior braking power in all weather conditions, better heat dissipation, reduced rim wear, and more consistent braking performance. This results in greater control and confidence on technical courses.

Integrated fueling system: AeroVault System
The AeroVault System has been notably updated to seamlessly integrate into the frameset. The expanded hard-shelled bento box now holds six gels (up from four), while the redesigned hydration system includes dual-sided access for easy refilling and a capacity of 700ml on sizes XS, S and 850ml on size M and L.

Adjustability. 
The new Trinity Advanced SL features unmatched adjustability, making it the most versatile triathlon and TT frameset on the market. Designed to adapt to a wide range of body shapes and proportions, it seamlessly transitions between triathlon and TT disciplines.

  • Armrests: 24x more adjustment options than the previous generation, easily customizable with a simple two-bolt mechanism.
  • Seatpost: redesigned with four offset positions and a 51mm adjustment range (compared to two positions and 40mm previously), offering greater flexibility to achieve the ideal riding position for comfort and efficiency.
  • Riding positions: 
    • For triathlon racing, the Trinity Advanced SL supports a more upright, comfortable position ideal for endurance events.
    • For TT racing, it accommodates a more aggressive, aerodynamic position for maximum speed.

  • Tri frameset hydration components: The tri frameset comes equipped with the hydration system, including a metal threading tool that makes setup and thorough cleaning simple. The system is attached like a standard water bottle cage, so alternatively, you can remove the reservoir and install a standard water bottle cage and bottle.
  • TT frameset kit: The frameset includes the frame, fork, hardware, cockpit (Giant Base Bar with integrated stem combo and new SYNC rest set), down tube bottle and cage and computer mount.
