Built for and tested by Giant Factory Off-Road Team pros including enduro slayer Josh Carlson, this all-mountain machine mates a lightweight, stiff and sharp-handling Advanced-grade composite mainframe with 160mm of smooth Maestro Suspension. The frame was engineered specifically for its 27.5 wheels, giving you confidence, control and speed on the roughest trails. It’s strong enough to handle aggressive terrain and efficient enough to float up steep climbs. Stable geometry, a tapered OverDrive steerer tube design and air or oil compatible shock mounts make Reign Advanced the king of enduro.
Giant’s High Performance-grade raw carbon fiber is used to produce custom composite material in our own composite factory that is extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant.
The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter-wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Maestro Suspension System
Utilizes four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages that all work together to create a single floating pivot point for the most active, efficient and independent system on the trail.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Frame features unique internal cable porting for sleek, uncluttered appearance and performance.
ENDURO-PROVEN 27.5-SPECIFIC GEOMETRY
Aggressive frame geometry with a slack 65-degree head angle, longer front-center, short, 17.1-inch chainstays and a longer wheelbase, tailored for 27.5-inch wheels.
142/135MM CONVERTIBLE REAR THRU-AXLE DESIGN
142/135mm convertible rear dropouts let riders choose which format works best for their needs.
Advanced Composite Technology
Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
