This killer composite machine has been developed and perfected over the years in an uncompromising quest to give Giant pros the fastest DH bike in the world. The latest version of the Glory Advanced breaks new ground in stiffness, weight and all-around performance. It features 203mm of fully active Maestro rear suspension on a superlight, stiff and strong composite mainframe. The frame geometry, engineered to optimize its 27.5 wheels, has helped deliver pros like Marcelo Gutierrez to World Cup podiums on the world’s toughest courses. It’s the lightest composite DH frame ever produced by Giant, and it’s hungry to win.
Giant's High Performance-grade raw carbon fiber is used to produce custom composite material in our own composite factory that is extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant.
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front-end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered rectangular downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
An oversized, fully integrated 86mm wide bottom bracket with a threaded design delivers optimal power transfer. And asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Designed to provide front-end steering performance, the system's oversized headset bearings (1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot point for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
Aggressive geometry, including a 63-degree headtube and a longer wheelbase, is optimized for 27.5 wheels and designed in collaboration with the Giant Factory Off-Road World Cup DH race team to excel in the toughest terrain.
