The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Highlights
The superlight composite frame is handcrafted with race-proven geometry and asymmetrical chainstays for optimal power transfer. The D-Fuse composite seatpost helps smooth out bumps and vibrations, and you also have the option to use a 30.9mm round standard or dropper seatpost. Other innovations include a lightweight composite WheelSystem and tubeless tires right out of the box. The flat-mount disc brakes and 12mm front and rear thru-axles deliver total control and fast cornering, sprinting and climbing in all conditions.

Cyclocross Specific Tubing
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was used to create tube shapes that enhance the performance and ride quality for cyclocross racing including a flattened and smoothed toptube shape for easier shouldering.

OverDrive 2
The most advanced steerer tube technology in today’s Giant bikes. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower, 1 1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.

Internal Cable Routing
Integrated ports and a tool-free bottom bracket guide in the frameset make cable installation easier. The internal routing saves weight and creates a cleaner look and performance.

D-Fuse Seatpost
All-new proprietary “D” shaped composite seatpost dampens vibration, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride.

Seatpost Adaptor
New frame design allows you to switch from the proprietary D-Fuse seatpost to a standard round 30.9mm seatpost. This enables riders to choose any type of seatpost, including a dropper seatpost, depending on riding style and terrain.

Modified Monocoque Construction
Eliminates the outermost woven composite sheet (found on heavier framesets) to reduce weight without affecting ride quality, strength or stiffness.

Disc-Brake Integration
The frame and fork are engineered with flat-mount disc-brake technology for powerful, consistent braking performance in all conditions. New front (12x100mm) and rear (12x142mm) thru-axles boost stiffness and steering precision.

PowerCore
A massively oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated 86mm wide design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Materiali
1. MATERIALE
A base di carbonio grezzo ad alte prestazioni per un
elevato rapporto rigidità / peso.
2. RESINA
La resina High Performance Formula fornisce un
livello elevato di minimizzazione dei vuoti (meno
bolle) pur mantenendo caratteristiche di resistenza
eccezionali.
Le particelle che assorbono le vibrazioni vengono
aggiunte per aiutare a disperdere gli impatti causati
dalla strada.
3 TECNICHE DI COSTRUZIONE
COSTRUZIONE MONOSCOCCA MODIFICATA: Il triangolo
anteriore (tubo obliquo, tubo sterzo, tubo superiore,
tubo verticale) è assemblato e stampato come un
unico pezzo continuo. Questa metà anteriore viene
quindi unita ai foderi verticali e orizzontali in un
processo secondario. La monoscocca modifcata
elimina il foglio composito più esterno per ridurre il
peso senza compromettere la qualità della guida, la
resistenza o la rigidità.

OverDrive 2
La più avanzata innovazione applicata alla zona sterzo sulle biciclette Giant dei nostri giorni. Ideata con lo scopo di fornire la miglior solidità e precisione alla zona della serie sterzo, implica un tubo forcella conico accoppiato a cuscinetti maggiorati da 1 1/2” (inferiore) e 1 1/4” (superiore).
PowerCore
Dotazione di una staffa inferiore completamente integrata,
larga 86 millimetri (larghezza di 92 millimetri per le bici offroad). I foderi asimmetrici forniscono maggiore rigidità sul lato
