Teams/Riders

Colombian rider Leonardo Páez Léon represents Giant in the world of marathon mountain bike racing, and he does it in style wearing the rainbow stripe jersey as the 2019 UCI World Champion.

Known to most as Leo Páez, the 37-year-old conquered a grueling 94km alpine course in Grächen, Switzerland, last September on his Anthem Advanced Pro 29 bike to win the 2019 UCI MTB Marathon world championship. Paez also rides the XtC Advanced SL 29 hardtail, which is his top choice for smoother, faster racetracks with lots of climbing.

In this video, Paez talks about his journey to becoming a world champion and what his big goals are for this year and beyond. You can also follow him on Facebook and Instagram.
