With wide-angle detection, adaptive rear lighting, and clear alerts, Aegis Radar alerts you to traffic approaching from behind while also making you more visible to others. From busy streets to less-traveled backroads, you can have more confidence and focus on your ride.

Available exclusively on the latest Giant E+ System E-bikes.

HOW IT WORKS

Traffic conditions can change quickly. When a vehicle approaches you from behind, audio and visual alerts and adaptive rear-light flashes help you understand the level of urgency. The flashing frequency is based on speed and distance, helping you react smoothly and stay focused on the ride.

VISIBLE WHEN IT MATTERS

Safety that’s built in, not just added on. Integrated radar and rear lighting match the contours of the rack to create a clean bike profile. The brake lights signal to road users behind you that you’re slowing down.

TIME ON YOUR SIDE

With detection up to 120 meters, approaching vehicles can be tracked from farther back, giving you earlier notice, steadier awareness, and more room to make confident decisions on the road or trail.

FEATURES

Having awareness of what’s happening behind you shouldn’t distract you from your ride. Integrated radar, rear lighting and audio alerts work together to detect approaching vehicles, make your movements clear to others, and allow every ride to feel safer and more controlled.
