Its constant innovations and refinements not only give riders an edge in race performance, but also make it a smoother riding, more capable machine that’s super versatile on mixed terrain.
This all-new TCX Advanced Pro continues that progression, raising the bar as the most well-rounded TCX yet. For starters, the new TCX Advanced Pro boasts significantly lighter weight while retaining the same class-leading stiffness as its predecessor. The frame and fork have been reengineered, which together offer a weight savings of 260 grams. The Advanced-grade composite frameset is 200 grams lighter than the previous generation, 850 grams versus 1050 grams. Asymmetrical chainstays maximize power transfer and a redesigned fork, also made with Advanced-grade composite, is 60 grams lighter, 400 grams compared to 460 grams for the previous version.
These weight reductions and engineering breakthroughs make this TCX more agile and responsive on roads, dirt, sand, and whatever else the course might throw at you. It’s faster up climbs, easier to hoist over your shoulder, and quicker in sprints.
Beyond its improved agility and acceleration, the new TCX Advanced Pro is also smoother riding. Most models come with a new full-carbon D-Fuse SLR seatpost, which is 20 percent more compliant than the existing D-Fuse SL. Also new this year is the option to switch to a standard 30.9 round seatpost—or even a dropper seatpost depending on your riding style and terrain.
