RENDSZEROPTIMALIZÁLÁS
A váz, a villa és az integrált nyeregcső tervezése, fejlesztése és tesztelése egymással összhangban történt, hogy egy komplett rendszerként működhessenek. A villa D-alakú kormánycsővel és hozzá illő távtartókkal rendelkezik, amelyek nemcsak az aerodinamikát javítják, hanem lehetővé teszik a kábelek belső elvezetését is a kormányon, a kormányszáron és a vázon/villán keresztül, így biztosítva a letisztult megjelenést. A jellegzetes ISP-kialakítás pedig 40 grammos súlycsökkenést eredményez, valamint jobban csökkenti az úthibákból eredő rezgéseket és tovább javítja az aerodinamikai teljesítményt.

The down tube is significantly redesigned for improved aerodynamics, and a new integrated cockpit, including the OverDrive Aero steerer tube and Contact SLR AeroLight stem, offers internal cable routing to further minimize drag. From the integrated seatpost to the CADEX WheelSystem with 40mm deep carbon rims, every component is chosen and tested for system optimization.

ONE-PIECE MOLD
New construction technique uses a single bladder (as opposed to previous generation’s three bladders) to create a one-piece front triangle. The result is reduced weight without compromising stiffness or aerodynamic shaping.

TRUNCATED ELLIPSE TUBING
Strategically engineered airfoil sections in the frame and fork, developed through CFD and wind-tunnel testing, improve aerodynamic efficiency, reducing wind drag at a wide range of yaw angles compared to traditional teardrop shaped tubes.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Frame/handlebar/stem feature unique cable porting for sleek, non-cluttered appearance and easier adjustability.

FULL COMPOSITE FORK
Advanced SL-grade composite fork features a symmetric design and aero shaping, along with disc-brake integration and increased clearance for tires up to 33mm. This new design makes it lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic.

OVERDRIVE AERO
The D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easy-to-service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.

Specifically engineered for competitive road racers, Variant’s refined shape and integrated design reduces weight, improves aero performance, and adds roadsmoothing compliance.

MEGADRIVE
An oversized down tube and top tube provide superior front end lateral and torsional stiffness. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped down tube yields unprecedented steering precision and pedaling performance.

POWERCORE
The oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated 86mm wide design. Symmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Integrated Seatpost
Designed as a key performance factor in the overall frameset, the integrated seatpost saves up to 40 grams compared to standard composite posts, while improving aerodynamics and adding road-smoothing compliance.
