Engineered with a full composite frameset including the front triangle and rear swingarm, this 29er has 90mm of smooth rear suspension travel and 100mm up front. The Maestro rear suspension system includes a trunnion mount shock that produces a lower leverage ratio for efficient pedaling and braking performance. The innovative linkage makes room for shorter chainstays to improve climbing capabilities and overall agility. The Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm is lighter, stiffer and stronger than aluminum, and other updates include wider Boost hub spacing and an integrated Giant WheelSystem that gives you super strong and stiff wheels for confident, precise handling on XC terrain.

Engineered with a superlight and stiff Advanced Composite mainframe and rear triangle, this limited-edition 29er frame features 90mm of smooth rear suspension travel. Created to celebrate Colombian XC racer Leonardo Páez, who won the 2019 MTB Marathon World Championship riding this frameset, it has 29er-specific geometry built for speed and stability with a 100mm suspension fork. The special graphics include a gloss black finish with bold splashes of blue, red, yellow and green that represent the colors of the world champion’s rainbow jersey. The Maestro rear suspension system is fitted with a Fox DPS Factory shock that has a remote lockout. The trunnion mount shock produces a lower leverage ratio for efficient pedaling and braking performance. The Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm is lighter, stiffer and stronger than aluminum, and the linkage allows for shorter chainstays to improve climbing capabilities and overall agility.

High-performance grade raw carbon fiber and custom resin is used to produce this high-quality frame in Giant’s own composite factory. Handcrafted monocoque construction makes both the mainframe and rear swingarm extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant.
Updated “long and low” XC frame geometry is tailored for 29-inch wheels to optimize control, acceleration and stability.
A state-of-the-art, high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex shaped carbon-fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar aluminum components.
New shock mount produces a lower leverage ratio for increased pedaling and braking efficiency, plus a lower center of gravity and shorter chainstays for improved handling, climbing and agility.
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
