A 100mm suspension fork gobbles up bumps, and a unique dropper seatpost also has built-in suspension for added comfort and smooth pedaling. The 27.5-inch wheels are paired with rugged tires that open it up to riding off-road terrain. The high-volume 57mm tires increase grip and shock absorption on bumpy road, paths or trails.

The Gates carbon belt drive system (on select models) offers clean and simple performance that lasts longer and is virtually maintenance free. Riders can expect the belt to last 10,000km or more, even through harsh conditions including dirt, dust and mud. The belt is much quieter than a regular chain, weighs less, and requires no lubrication.

Low-Step-Through Frame
The frame’s low-step-through design makes it easy to mount and dismount—even when the bike is loaded with racks and cargo, or on uneven terrain. A dropper suspension seatpost allows you to put both feet on the ground easily when you stop. It also comes with an integrated rear cargo rack featuring a MIK HD interface that makes it easy to add accessories such as bags or a child seat with a secure click mechanism.

Giant’s premium display unit, featuring a full-color screen that’s cleanly integrated with the stem so it’s easy to view while riding. The screen displays essential ride information including speed, distance and battery level. And when you connect it with the RideControl app via your smartphone, you get access to maps and turn-by-turn navigation.

The controller is optimized for city and trekking bikes like this one. It has large, easy-to-reach buttons and LED lights indicating battery level and support mode, along with a dedicated Smart Assist button that makes it easy to choose the automatic support mode. The controller also has an integrated USB port to charge a phone or other device.

Clean Cable Routing
The cockpit setup features internally routed cables for a clean, integrated look. Cables and wires for the brakes, dropper seatpost lever, shifters, RideControl Ergo 2 and RideDash EVO are routed and tucked into the frame for a tidy aesthetic. Below the stem sits a headlight, perfectly positioned for maximum visibility in low-light conditions while also being out of the way.

Integrated into the rear dropout, this mount allows the rider to attach a trailer without risk of damaging the frame or rear axle, making it easy to haul cargo for daily errands or multi-day treks.

One of the unique features of the AnyTour X E+ is its Smart Assist technology, an optional mode that uses sensors and advanced algorithms to determine the optimal pedaling support needed and adjust the level of power output while you ride. The combination of the SyncDrive motors and Smart Assist delivers an extremely smooth and natural riding experience without having to worry about changing support settings while you ride.

EnergyPak Smart

The motor is fueled by the EnergyPak Smart, which features new battery cell technology for the specific needs of E-bike usage. At the core of the system is a new 22700 cell type, which vastly outperforms the standard 21700 and 18650 cell types found in most E-bike batteries. The larger cells of the EnergyPak have greater discharge capacity. They also run cooler, which means less stress on the system and a longer total lifecycle.

Head Tube Charge Port

A newly designed charge port has been relocated from the motor mount to the head tube. This higher placement offers easier access and convenience for charging the battery.

Automatic Shifting

Select AnyTour X E+ models also offer automatic gear shifting. You can simply ride at your preferred pedaling cadence, and the special integrated rear hub automatically shifts gears for you, similar to an automatic transmission in a car.

Two SyncDrive Motors to choose from

This motor has a compact shape and weighs just 2.7kg, significantly lighter than the previous generation. It has an increased torque output of 85Nm and is tuned to run quieter. The compact design also allows a narrow Q factor of 168mm for a natural pedaling motion and minimal strain on the knees.

SyncDrive Sport
The compact SyncDrive Sport 2 motor is sonically tuned for smooth, quiet performance. With 75Nm of torque, it engages instantly when power is applied to the pedals for quick acceleration and smooth, natural pedaling assistance.
