Colombian XC racer Leonardo Páez rode his XtC Advanced SL 29 to a second-straight world championship title in 2020. To celebrate that achievement, we created this limited-edition replica hardtail frame with the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio of any bike in its class. Made with our most premium material, Advanced SL-grade composite, and weighing just 920 grams, it’s the lightest off-road frame Giant has ever produced.

Advanced SL Composite Frame
Professional-grade raw carbon material is woven in our own composite factory using our most advanced engineering and construction methods including Continuous Fiber Technology to add strength while reducing weight, and Carbon Nanotube Technology resin to improve impact resistance.

Optimized Tube Shaping
A completely redesigned XtC Advanced SL 29 frame optimizes every tube shape to shave weight, maintain stiffness and improve ride quality on XC terrain.

OverDrive
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

Internal Cable Routing
Internal cable routing with fewer, yet larger ports and tool-free bottom bracket guide ensures easy cable installation while minimizing frame weight.

MegaDrive
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.

PowerCore
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 92-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Boost Technology
Wider hub spacing (110mm front / 148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tire clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance.

Gloss black-and-white finish with bold splashes of blue, red, yellow and green represent the colors of the UCI world champion’s rainbow jersey. Chainstays inscribed with World Champion Leo Páez’s nickname, #LionPaez. Rear side of the seattube is marked with a rainbow stripe Lion illustration.
