Over half the world’s road are unpaved, offering ample opportunities for adventure on gravel, dirt and scenic byways. This lightweight aluminum all-rounder is a great way to explore roads you’ve always thought about but have never ridden.
Key Performance Factors
Versatile gravel geometry
Gravel-riding geometry features endurance positioning and shorter chainstays. The result is precise handling, agility and control in all situations, from out-of-the-saddle road climbs to fast and rugged dirt road descents.
Innovative Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar and D-Fuse seatpost work as a system to help absorb shock without sacrificing the stiffness needed for aggressive road performance. Added frame clearance for high-volume 45c tires helps smooth out rough roads, gravel and dirt.
The ALUXX aluminum frame delivers efficient pedaling power and all-round versatility, giving you a smooth, fast ride quality on variable riding surfaces.
The new Revolt features a lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame and composite fork, each engineered to balance stiffness (for efficiency) and compliance (for comfort and control). It comes with integrated components including the D-Fuse aluminum seatpost and Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar to further absorb road shocks and vibrations. The frame is integrated for disc brakes and it has clearance for larger tires up to 45c. Lastly, Revolt comes with a number of built-in features including the integrated fork and frame mounts for racks and accessories to help you make the most of your gravel-riding adventures.
The frame is made with 6061 alloy and single-butted tubes to produce a strong, durable chassis that’s ideal for rough roads, gravel and dirt.
Advanced Composite Fork
Composite fork with an OverDrive tapered steer tube absorbs road shock and vibrations and allows for added tire clearance up to 45c.
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
The proprietary “D” shaped aluminum seatpost dampens vibration, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride.
CONTACT XR D-FUSE HANDLEBAR
Slightly flared drop handlebar features D-shaped tubing that offers wider hand positioning and absorbs road shocks.
Giant Tubeless System
Integrated tubeless wheelset and tires deliver improved efficiency, comfort and control in the most user-friendly and reliable system.
Oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated 86mm wide bottom bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Techs & Features
ALUXX Aluminum Technology
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar were designed to function as a system, absorbing road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster.
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
