Let's Roll

You ride to feel fast. To cut through the wind, lean into a turn, stand on the pedals, and surge ahead. The new Contend SL is made for this feeling. With its responsive handling and smooth control, it pushes you to ride harder, go faster, and chase that feeling every time you roll out.

This is a bike that fully demonstrates Giant’s world-leading alloy engineering capabilities. The ALUXX SL-grade frame features high-performance, state-of-the-art aluminum material made to optimize the bike’s strength-to-weight ratio. The double-butted tubes are shaped and joined using innovative techniques including FluidForm and Smooth Weld.

It’s this combination of engineering and craftmanship that allowed us to create a modern, attainable and well-rounded aluminum road bike that rivals the performance of many carbon road bikes.
