HOW TO TAKE YOUR BODY MEASUREMENTS

When taking your measurements, use a cloth tape measure, not a metal one, and make sure that when you circle your chest, waist, or hips, the tape is level and not too tight or too loose. Measure yourself against your bare skin, not over clothes, and be sure to record your measurements.

HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE

Use a measuring tape to measure horizontally around your head approximately one inch above your eyebrows, and from the point on the back of your head that gives the largest possible number.

With your arms relaxed and down at your sides, use a measuring tape to measure the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

Stand with your heels together. Use a measuring tape to measure around your natural waistline and keep the measuring tape comfortably loose and parallel to the floor.

Stand with your heels together and measure around the widest part of your hips while keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

Stand with your heels together and measure the inside length of your leg from the crotch to the bottom of your ankle.

Use a measuring tape around the widest part of your palm.

Use a measuring tape from your longest finger to base of your palm.
Video Biceps Circumference
Biceps Circumference
Stand with your arms hanging by your sides. Use a measuring tape to find the circumference of your bicep at its widest point. Measure both biceps and take the biggest number.

Use a measuring tape to find the full circumference of your wrist.

Thigh Circumference

Use a measuring tape to find the circumference of your thigh at its widest point. Measure both thighs and take the biggest number.
