Forbes Vetted editor, Amy Jurries recently ranked her 7 best gravel bikes that can confidently tackle mixed terrain. Jurries named Giant's Revolt X Advanced Pro 1 as the winner of the best gravel bike with front suspension.
The Revolt X Advanced Pro is Giant's first ever gravel bike with front suspension and is designed for riders who wish to tackle rougher terrain such as trails. The Advanced Pro model is manufactured with a carbon fibre frame, designed in Giant's own carbon factory.
The frame is designed with suspension optimised geometry, paired with a 40mm RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR suspension fork, and a Postmodern, dropper, 30.9mm with 25mm of suspension 415mm length / 100mm drop, that absorbs shocks and vibrations when riding over rowdier terrain.
The model also runs 700x45c, tubeless tyres, and a flipchip drop out that allows 53mm max tyre clearance in "long" flip chip position, 45mm max tyre clearance in "short" flip chip position, so you can have fun with your tyres depending on the terrain you wish to ride on.
Jurries stated "the Quincy’s comfortable geometry prioritises stability and control, making it easy to handle in a range of conditions".
The Revolt X also comes with multiple mounts that are compatible with mudguards, bottle cages and luggage so you can enjoy bikepacking. It's also equipped with powerful disc brakes for controlled stopping in wet or muddy weather conditions.
