After the positive review on the top half of the Elevate road kit, Road.CC posted their latest review on the high-quality bib shorts, praising the comfort and technology packed into an excellent value for money garment, receiving an excellent four stars out of five.
Starting with the high-quality fabric that makes up the bib shorts, known as TransTextura technology, reviewer Ashley Quinlan found it “breathable and flexible, and a little denser than in the jersey, which adds to the bib shorts' resilience and its SPF50 properties and – frankly – comfort too.”
In fact, the level of comfort offered by the Elevate bib short was a feature that resonated throughout the review; “To be honest, it's one of the most comfortable bib sections I've come across – perfect for either long summer days or high-intensity efforts".
The comfort and technical features aren’t just limited to the fabric, with the Etxeondo pad featured in the bib shorts the same one used by Team Sunweb at the 2018 Tour de France; “It truly is a pro-level chamois, and that makes the Elevate bib shorts' value even more impressive”.
Overall, the Quinlan summed up the review on the Elevate bib shorts by calling them “perfect for competitive riding as well as long hot summer days in the saddle, and represent very good value for money too.”
