An evening with Jake Johnson, a local cyclist (and ex staff member) who has recently ridden his bicycle 26,000km over 25 countries in Australia, Asia and Europe.

He will be recounting some tales from his adventures on the bicycle. From passing through remote areas of Burma to his police-escorted traverse of Xinjiang, China, to the ups and downs of central Asia and finally the home stretch across Europe.

With emphasis on the joy of type-2 fun and the paradoxical power that comes from travelling humbly, this is certainly not one to miss for those interested in adventure travel and long distance cycling.

Jake will deliver a 30-40 minute talk about his trip followed by an opportunity to ask questions and an informal discussion on all things cycle touring.

With it being so close to Christmas, Giant Sheffield will be supplying some festive treats and tipple to all attendee's, it's set to be a great evening, spaces are limited so be sure to book quickly here!
