Pour répondre aux exigences de la compétition d’enduro au plus haut niveau, le Reign Advanced Pro 29 adopte un châssis full-composite (triangle avant, triangle arrière et biellette supérieure), des bases courtes de 439mm, un tube supérieur rallongé et un angle de direction rassurant de 64,6°. La suspension arrière Maestro a été adaptée pour développer 146 mm de débattement, couplé à une biellette Advanced Forged Composite et à un amortisseur de type Trunnion. Le résultat est un vélo rapide et agile sur n’importe quel terrain de jeu.
Le cadre du Reign Advanced Pro 29 utilise les technologies Advanced et Advanced Forged Composite développées par Giant. Les triangles avant et arrière sont en composite carbone pour garantir un cadre rigide et léger et la biellette supérieure monobloc offre un guidage optimal de l’amortisseur.
Les roues de 29 pouces offrent une meilleure capacité de franchissement, favorisent l’équilibre et la stabilité du vélo. Elles vous donneront le pouvoir de franchir rochers et racines à pleine vitesse.
Nouvelle géométrie avec un angle de direction rassurant de 65° et un tube de selle relevé à 76,5° qui favorise le pédalage. Rajoutez à ça une fourche avec un déport de 42 mm et vous obtenez un vélo ultra stable à haute vitesse.
The geometry of the Advanced composite frame and swingarm was developed specifically around 29-inch wheels. That means shorter chainstays, a longer toptube, and just the right angles with the headtube (64.56 degrees) and seattube (76.36 degrees). We gave it an updated Maestro rear suspension system with 146mm of travel. The trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm deliver an active, super plush feel on the trail.
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
Mainframe and rear swingarm crafted with high-performance grade raw carbon fiber and custom resin that’s custom made in Giant’s own composite factory. Handcrafted monocoque construction makes it extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant.
A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce the carbon fiber upper rocker link that’s lighter, stiffer and stronger than aluminum.
“Long and low” enduro-frame geometry with 64.56/76.36-degree headtube/seattube angles deliver smooth handling on aggressive terrain. Frameset is tailored for 29-inch wheels to optimize roll-over capabilities and high-speed momentum.
Wider hub spacing (110mm front / 148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tire clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance.
New shock mount produces a lower leverage ratio for increased pedaling and braking efficiency, plus a lower center of gravity and shorter chainstays for improved handling, climbing and agility.
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Giant’s proven oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
