The TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards is hosted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Bicycle Association (TBA) and organized by iF DESIGN ASIA Ltd. This year 40 entries were chosen by an international jury of experts.
“The award echoes the trends that are responding to global demand, especially the electrification trend, as the industry has invested a lot in the development of E-bikes,” said Francois Liang, chairman of the jury.
A post on the iF World Design Guide website praises the Trance E+ Pro for its "massive 80Nm of torque and 360 percent tunable support, all controlled by the Giant RideControl App." They also point out its trail capabilities: "Featuring 140mm of smooth Maestro suspension travel in the rear, 150mm in the front, and frame geometry that’s designed for 27.5 wheels, this is a whole new way to tackle technical singletrack trails.”
