SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION
The frameset, wheels, cockpit and other parts are engineered, developed and tested together to perform as a system. The all-new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to incorporate internal cable routing that integrates the top cap, cables and spacers in a more aerodynamic, user-friendly setup.

Featuring a greater stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, along with new aero tube shaping and a lighter overall weight, this uncompromising race bike delivers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness. The result is race-winning performance in the moments that count.
INTEGRATED AERODYNAMICS
All tube shapes are engineered and developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and wind-tunnel testing. From the truncated ellipse shape of frameset tubing to a new cockpit design and component integration, it all adds up to a more streamlined profile that improves overall aero performance compared to the previous generation.
MADE FASTER
This versatile road racer combines race-winning stiffness-to-weight with aerodynamic tube shaping and system integration. From the road-smoothing Variant seatpost to the composite WheelSystem, every piece is made to perform better as a system. The new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to incorporate new internal cable routing for easy setup and adjustment, while integrated disc brakes and generous clearance for tires up to 33mm make it adaptable to all road conditions.

ADVANCED COMPOSITE
High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

TRUNCATED ELLIPSE TUBING
Strategically engineered airfoil sections in the frame and fork, developed through CFD and wind-tunnel testing, improve aerodynamic efficiency, reducing wind drag at a wide range of yaw angles compared to traditional teardrop shaped tubes.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Frame/handlebar/stem feature unique cable porting for sleek, non-cluttered appearance and easier adjustability.

COMPOSITE FORK
Advanced SL-grade composite fork features a symmetric design and aero shaping, along with disc-brake integration and increased clearance for tires up to 33mm. The design makes it lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic.

OVERDRIVE AERO
The D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easy-to-service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.

MEGADRIVE
An oversized down tube and top tube provide superior front end lateral and torsional stiffness. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped down tube yields unprecedented steering precision and pedaling performance.

The oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated 86mm wide design. Symmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Advanced Composite Technology
Käytämme korkealaatuista raakahiilimateriaalia tämän erikoisvalmisteisen runkomateriaalin tuottamiseen omassa tehtaassamme korkealla jäykkyys-painosuhteella. Runkosarjojen etukolmio kootaan ja muovataan yhtenä yhtenäisenä kappaleena patentoidussa valmistusprosessissa nimeltään Modified Monocoque Construction.
Compact Road Design
Giantin ja Team ONCE:n 1990-luvulla markkinoille tuoma Compact Road mullisti kilpamaantiepyörien ulkonäön ja tuntuman ikuisesti. Alaspäin kalteva vaakaputki (emäputkesta satulaputkeen) mahdollistaa pienemmät etu- ja takakolmiot, ja siten kevyemmän ja jäykemmän rakenteen. Lisäksi muotoilu helpottaa oikean istuvuuden löytämistä kaikenkokoisille ajajille.
PowerCore
Oversized-malliseen keskiön/takahaarukan alaputken alueeseen kuuluu täysin integroitu, 86 mm leveä keskiö (maastopyörissä 92 mm). Epäsymmetriset takahaarukan alaputket tarjoavat lisäjäykkyyttä vetopuolelle ja vakautta ei-vetopuolelle.
OverDrive Aero
Täysin uuden Propel-sarjan emäputken sisään asettuva D-muotoinen haarukan kaulaputki ja vastaavat väliholkit tekevät rungon sisäisesti vedettyjen jarru- ja vaihdevaijerien järjestelmästä erittäin aerodynaamisen ja helpommin huollettavan.
