Raw power matters, but it’s the smooth balance of torque and control that truly shapes your ride. While most E-MTBs must compromise their suspension designs around off-the-shelf motors, we engineered the SyncDrive Pro 4 motor and Maestro suspension together using a custom motor housing to accommodate Maestro’s proven dual-link suspension kinematics. The Synchronized Power Matrix senses the ride and adjusts the support to your tuning. When steep climbs turn loose, Traction Control detects rear wheel slip and refines the assist, so power finds grip and you stay in control. A mixed-wheel setup—29-inch front for smooth roll-over, 27.5-inch rear for added agility—and 3-position flip-chip geometry let you dial in handling to your riding style and terrain.
The new 48V SyncDrive Pro 4 motor delivers lightning-fast response (0.28 seconds) and 120Nm of torque from the first crank of your pedals, starting at 0 rpm. It’s designed to read force, not rotation. Best of all, it doesn’t taper at speed, delivering 850W of peak power across the full cadence range. Weighing just 21.9kg with a new 840Wh battery, the new Trance Advanced E+ 0 handles like a lighter bike and holds power where others fade.
More power and torque lead to more stress on everything. The new Trance Advanced E+ is built to handle the forces of full-power E-MTB riding with engineered durability across the board. The new TRX and TRA HD WheelSystems feature high-torque titanium ratchet hubs that are 20% stronger than the previous generation and 25% stronger in fatigue testing than leading competitors. A new high-torque KMC chain delivers 35% stronger pin strength versus leading benchmark 12-speed chains. The EnergyPak 840 battery has a 2,300-cycle lifespan. And it’s all backed by Giant’s global retailer and service network.

The Giant E+ System unites the motor, battery, and software into an overarching ecosystem that seamlessly combines electric and human power. On the Trance Advanced E+, this extends to purpose-built components—including the RideControl Ergo 5 wireless controller and Contact Switch E+ dropper—functioning flawlessly together to produce a smart, connected, and highly intuitive ride.
Mainframe and minimalist rear triangle crafted using inner-molding technologies to create our lightest full-power E-MTB chassis ever. This ultralight construction seamlessly integrates the 840Wh battery and reduces frameset weight by 300g.
Four pivot points and two linkages create a single floating pivot. Re-tuned for 120Nm full power, it neutralizes massive chain loads and braking forces for absolute traction on the trail.
At just 2.4kg, the 48V SyncDrive Pro 4 delivers 120Nm of torque and 850W of peak power. By sustaining massive output across the entire cadence range, it stands as Giant’s highest torque-to-weight motor to date.
The new Synchronized Power Matrix reads six real-time sensors—including torque, slope, and cadence—to provide just the right amount of support. With six precision tuning parameters and fully custom riding modes, it delivers a natural, powerful experience.
Integrated 840Wh battery pack powers a 48V system using advanced 22700-B cells, delivering massive capacity in a compact 3.7kg package. Exceptionally energy-dense (375 Wh/L), it provides more range with less bulk to keep the bike agile, while smart charging ensures reliable, safe performance ride after ride.
The RideControl Ergo 5 is a single remote that controls key functions including a dropper seatpost and electronic shifting with fully customizable buttons and the ability to add one on each side of the handlebar for enhanced control.*

Multifunctional button integrated into the top tube makes it quick and easy to power the E-bike and lights on and off. The button is paired with a large full-color screen to view battery status, remaining range, and front and rear tire pressure—along with key ride data including speed, time, distance, and cadence.
Quickly adjust the frame geometry to three different positions (low, mid, high) to suit your riding style and terrain. The adjustment affects the head tube and seat tube angles. It’s easy to do using eccentric hardware (flip chips) located on the upper rocker arm of the Maestro rear suspension system.
The industry-leading Contact Switch E+ dropper seatpost is fast, fully integrated and built for E-bikes, making it easy to adjust saddle height for greater control and confidence on the trail.
The TRX/TRA HD WheelSystem and heavy-duty 300Nm KMC chain reinforce the drivetrain against massive motor torque. Built with a 20% stronger titanium ratchet and 35% more chain pin strength, this setup delivers full confidence when you’re putting the power down.
Real-time monitoring via the Lux display lets you check pressures and receive instant rapid-drop alerts. A 600-hour battery ensures your grip is always optimized for the most demanding trails.

The E-Lock disables motor support and digitally locks the bike via app, remote, or PIN. If moved without authorization, an audible alarm sounds instantly, ensuring peace of mind and real protection every time you stop.

Enhanced security and anti-theft feature using Apple Find My function lets you set up separation alerts, locate your E-bike remotely, and receive notifications if its location changes. Apple Find My privacy protections ensure that your location information is encrypted on Apple servers and retained for only 24 hours.

The Aegis Tire Checker lets you track your desired front and rear tire pressures, clearly displaying live updates and instantly alerting you if they reach your set limits or drop rapidly.

Beautifully integrated into your top tube, RideControl Go Lux offers a vibrant color screen clearly showing key ride data and range—so you're always informed, inspired, and primed to shred.

The new 48V SyncDrive Pro 4 is a torque-based, zero-cadence motor. Rider input converts to forward momentum instantly: a 0.28-second response time paired with a 1:5 support ratio for up to 500% assistance. At just 2.4kg, it punches out 120Nm of torque and 850W of peak power across the full cadence range, making it one of the most torque-dense and responsive motors available.

The RideControl Ergo 5 is a single remote that controls key functions including a dropper seatpost and electronic shifting with fully customizable buttons and the ability to add one on each side of the handlebar for enhanced control.

This range extender can boost total capacity by 280Wh. This gives you the choice—lighter weight for everyday rides or longer range for epic ride days.
