SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION
Der Rahmen, die Gabel und die integrierte Sattelstütze wurden so konstruiert, entwickelt und getestet, dass sie als System funktionieren. Die Gabel hat ein D-förmiges Steuerrohr mit passenden Distanzstücken, die nicht nur die Aerodynamik verbessern, sondern auch die interne Verlegung der Kabel durch Lenker, Vorbauten und Rahmen/Gabel ermöglichen, was für ein klareres Profil sorgt. Und die charakteristische ISP spart 40 g ein, sorgt für mehr Straßenruhe und verbessert die Aerodynamik noch weiter.

Professional-grade raw carbon is woven in the Giant composite factory using the most advanced engineering and construction methods. Continuous Fiber Technology adds strength and minimizes weight.

ONE-PIECE MOLD
New construction technique uses a single bladder (as opposed to previous generation’s three bladders) to create a one-piece front triangle. The result is reduced weight without compromising stiffness or aerodynamic shaping.

TRUNCATED ELLIPSE TUBING
Strategically engineered airfoil sections in the frame and fork, developed through CFD and wind-tunnel testing, improve aerodynamic efficiency, reducing wind drag at a wide range of yaw angles compared to traditional teardrop shaped tubes.

FULL COMPOSITE FORK
Advanced SL-grade composite fork features a symmetric design and aero shaping, along with disc-brake integration and increased clearance for tires up to 33mm. This new design makes it lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic.

The D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easy-to-service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.

MEGADRIVE
An oversized down tube and top tube provide superior front end lateral and torsional stiffness. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped down tube yields unprecedented steering precision and pedaling performance.

The oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated 86mm wide design. Symmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Technologien
Advanced SL Composite Technologie
Diese Carbonfaser des höchsten Grades wird verwendet, um ein exklusives Rahmenmaterial aus Verbundstoff herzustellen, das im eigenen Werk gewebt und verarbeitet wird. Bei der Carbon-Nanotube-Technologie (CNT) wird ein mikroskopisch kleines Polymer der speziellen Harzmischung von GIANT hinzugefügt. Diese CNT-Teilchen fungieren als Stützfeiler in Miniaturgröße und stärken die Verbundschichten. Mit CNT behandelte Rahmen besitzen eine 14 Mal höhere Stoßfestigkeit als Rahmen ohne CNT und sind bis zu 100 g leichter.
Integrierte Sattelstütze
Als wichtiger Performance-Faktor im gesamten Rahmen entwickelt, spart die integrierte Sattelstütze bis zu 45 Gramm gegenüber Standard-Composite-Stützen, während sie die Aerodynamik und Vibrationsdämpfung verbessert.
