Das fortschrittliche SL-Grade-Carbon-Rahmenset nutzt das Profi-Carbon von Giant und seine Fertigungsverfahren. Das Ergebnis ist eine Gewichtsersparnis von 225 Gramm im Vergleich zur Vorgängergeneration und ein noch besseres Verhältnis von Steifigkeit zu Gewicht.

The Propel Advanced SL frameset is engineered with Giant’s AeroSystem Shaping technology, which means every tube shape and angle is optimized for minimal drag. The tubes feature a truncated ellipse shape for a frame that is ultra-stiff and superlight, while the integrated seatpost reduces weight, improves aero performance, and adds road-smoothing compliance. This special edition honors Team Jayco AlUla with the team’s bold colors.

Vector Integrated Seatpost
Designed as a key performance factor in the overall frameset, the integrated seatpost saves up to 45 grams compared to standard composite posts, while improving aerodynamics and adding road-smoothing compliance.

OverDrive Aero
Found inside the head tube of the all-new Propel range, the D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easier to service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.

A massively oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated 86.5mm wide design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Technologien
Advanced SL Composite Technologie
Diese Carbonfaser des höchsten Grades wird verwendet, um ein exklusives Rahmenmaterial aus Verbundstoff herzustellen, das im eigenen Werk gewebt und verarbeitet wird. Bei der Carbon-Nanotube-Technologie (CNT) wird ein mikroskopisch kleines Polymer der speziellen Harzmischung von GIANT hinzugefügt. Diese CNT-Teilchen fungieren als Stützfeiler in Miniaturgröße und stärken die Verbundschichten. Mit CNT behandelte Rahmen besitzen eine 14 Mal höhere Stoßfestigkeit als Rahmen ohne CNT und sind bis zu 100 g leichter.
AeroSystem Shaping Technologie
Anhand von CFD- (numerische Strömungsmechanik) und Windkanal-Daten optimieren die Ingenieure jede Rohrform, damit sie eine überlegene Aerodynamik aufweist.
OverDrive Aero
Das D-förmige Gabelschaftrohr und die entsprechenden Spacer befinden sich im Steuerrohr der brandneuen Propel-Reihe und bieten ein extrem aerodynamisches, einfacher zu wartendes System aus intern verlegten Brems- und Schaltzügen.
Integrierte Sattelstütze
Als wichtiger Performance-Faktor im gesamten Rahmen entwickelt, spart die integrierte Sattelstütze bis zu 45 Gramm gegenüber Standard-Composite-Stützen, während sie die Aerodynamik und Vibrationsdämpfung verbessert.
