Raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

With its large-diameter 29-inch wheels and lightweight Advanced-grade composite frame, this responsive hardtail flies on XC terrain. The frameset is engineered for a 100mm fork, handcrafted with a specific composite layup schedule according to frame size. This creates an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio with just the right amount of vertical compliance. It features wider Boost hub spacing, which improves wheel stiffness and adds clearance to run larger tires, plus a host of other features that let you dial in its performance on XC terrain.

A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.

A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Wider hub spacing (110mm front / 148mm rear) results in stiffer wheels for added control plus more tire clearance and an improved chainline for optimal drivetrain performance.

Advanced Composite Technologie
GIANT's Hochleistungs-Carbonfaser wird verwendet, um dieses spezielle Carbon-Rahmenmaterial zu fertigen, das im eigenen Werk gewebt und verarbeitet wird und ein hervorragendes Steifheit-Gewichtsverhältnis aufweist. Das vordere Rahmendreieck wird als einziges Stück geformt. Bei der modifizierten Monocoque-Konstruktion entfällt die äußere geflochtene Verbundlage. So wird das Gewicht reduziert, ohne die Fahrqualität, Stabilität oder Steifigkeit zu beeinträchtigen.
MegaDrive
Das MegaDrive Unterrohr erhöht die Kombination mit dem Overdrive/ Overdrive 2 die Rahmensteifigkeit. Der Durchmesser des Unterrohrs ist soweit vergrößert wie es möglich ist. Durch die geringen Wandstärken ist das MegaDrive Unterrohr aber dennoch sehr leicht.
OverDrive
Der Original-Oversized-Gabelschaft von GIANT. Für Lenkpräzision gebaut, liefern die extragroßen Steuersatzlager (1 1/4" unten, 1 1/8" oben für die Straße, 1 1/2" unten und 1 1/8" oben für Mountain) und der konische Gabelschaft optimale Steifigkeit im Vorderbau.
PowerCore
Das PowerCore Innenlagergehäuse ist ein weiterer Punkt, der zur hohen Rahmensteifigkeit bei Giant beiträgt. Der weite Sitz der Innenlagerschalen und die gute Verbindung um MegaDrive Unterrohr erhöhen die Rahmensteifigkeit.
Tubeless System
