Zapletená kola XCR 1 30 jsou špičková a velmi lehká kola (1456 g) určená pro výkonnostní a závodní XC nebo downcountry. Ultralehké a zároveň vysoce pevné a odolné karbonové ráfky mají hookless (neboli bezháčkový) design, což zvyšuje celkovou odolnost ráfků a také umožňuje větší vnitřní šířku (30 mm) bez navýšení hmotnosti.

Hookless Rim Design
Ve srovnání s klasickými ráfky, jejichž patky mají zahnuté okraje neboli „háčky“, hookless neboli bezháčkový design ráfků zvyšuje celkovou životnost ráfku, nabízí větší vnitřní šířku bez navýšení hmotnosti a také pomáhá vytvořit kulatější tvar pneumatiky poskytující vynikající přilnavost a ovladatelnost a přidanou podporu bočnice v zatáčkách. Díky absenci „háčku“, který by jinak „tlačil“ patku pneumatiky dovnitř, nabízí hookless ráfek plynulejší proudění vzduchu mezi pneumatikou a bočnicí ráfku, což má za následek menší odpor a lepší aerodynamický výkon ve srovnání se standardními ráfky.
Dynamic Balanced Lacing
Since its introduction in 2015, Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) has been the cornerstone of Giant WheelSystems. DBL ensures that spokes are set for optimal tension when under dynamic load, resulting in enhanced durability and pedaling efficiency. The enlarged DBL hub flange also increases the spoke bracing angles, which boosts overall torsional/transmission and lateral stiffness for better power transfer and more stable sprinting.
