Proper care of your cycling apparel maintains its performance for longer and lessens its impact on the environment. To make sure you are getting the most out of your Giant cycling apparel, have a look at the care instructions below:

BEFORE WASHING

SEPARATE CYCLING APPAREL FROM THE REST OF YOUR LAUNDRY

Always wash your cycling kit separately. This protects both your cycling apparel as well as your other clothes.

CHECK THE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LABEL

Not all cycling clothes are the same. Some need special care, so always check the label before washing.

TIPS

  • With careful care of your cycling apparel, you can wash it less often and reduce your impact on the environment.
  • Hand washing only recommended
  • Do not use fabric softener as it forms a layer on clothing that makes it lose breathability.
  • Do not use bleach as it destroys clothing fibers.

DRYING

  • Hang dry indoors with lots of ventilation.
  • If drying outdoors, turn clothing inside out so that the colors do not fade.
  • If drying outdoors, do not leave for prolonged periods of time, as this will break down the fibers in the apparel and reduce its performance and longevity.
  • Do not hang garments using suspenders, sleeves or other elastic parts.

STORAGE
