How do I install Aegis Tire Checker?
Follow the official installation guide or video to install Aegis Tire Checker correctly. It should sit securely on the valve after installation. If you are unsure, or if the tire loses air after installation, contact your Giant retailer.
What should I do if my tire loses air after installation?
Remove the Tire Checker and check that all adapter parts are correctly installed and not damaged. Reinstall it carefully. If the tire still loses air, stop using the Tire Checker and contact your Giant retailer.
Is it normal for tire pressure to drop slowly?
A small pressure drop over time is normal for bicycle tires. If pressure drops faster than usual after installing the Tire Checker, check the installation and valve area before riding.
Can I keep riding if my tire is losing air?
No. Do not ride with a tire that is losing air quickly. Low tire pressure can affect control, damage the tire or rim, and may be unsafe.
What should I do if Tire Checker does not connect?
First, check the LED indicator and battery. If the battery is low, replace the coin cell battery and try again. If Tire Checker still does not connect, contact your Giant retailer for support.
What do the Tire Checker LED colors mean?
A green blink every two seconds means Aegis Tire Checker is active. A red blink every two seconds means the battery is low. A red blink every second means abnormal tire pressure is detected. Red and green blinking every second means firmware is updating.
Does Tire Checker use a replaceable battery?
Yes. Tire Checker uses a replaceable CR1632 coin cell battery and is designed for up to 600 active hours, depending on use. Follow the official instructions when replacing the battery.
Is Tire Checker compatible with my E-bike?
Not every E-bike supports Tire Checker. MY26 and newer supported bikes are designed to work with this technology. Check your product information or contact your Giant retailer with your bike model and model year.
