Known for his intense training regime, which can go up to eight hours a day in cold, wet conditions, Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt realized a lifelong dream when he won the Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. His win was a memorable one as he delivered one of the mosty gutsy runs ever witnessed in the sport, battling Alex Lee of Great Britain and surging to the victory in the last kilometer. "It is a moment that I have been dreaming about for so many years," Kristian said after winning the gold. Kristian trains and competes with Giant bikes and gear including the Propel Advanced SL Disc aero road bike, along with Giant helmets including the Pursuit and Rivet TT models.

Intro to triathlonI grew us as a swimmer who never learned "how to swim," but I had a huge engine. So my swim coach back then thought I had much bigger talent outside of the pool and advised me to give triathlon a try... Since then, triathlon has been my life.

Indoor cycling, or brave the  winter conditions?Or escape the winter for a training camp in a warm place, ha ha! We normally do lots of camps over the winter, but the efficiency and simplicity of riding on a turbo is really good too.
