Diese „SX“-Serie verfügt über eine völlig neue Maestro-Hinterradfederung mit mehr Federweg (145 mm) für technische Singletrails und ruppige Abfahrten. Der Trunnion-Mount-Dämpfer und die Advanced Forged Carbon-Schwinge sorgen für einen längeren Hub, der sich geschmeidig und aktiv anfühlt, sowie für eine höhere Steifigkeit des Fahrwerks für präzise Kontrolle. Die hintere Federung ist mit einer 160-mm-Gabel mit längerem Federweg kombiniert, die dir auf Abfahrten mehr Vertrauen und Kontrolle gibt.
Einstellbare Trail-Geometrie
Mit dem dreistufigen Maestro-Flip-Chip kannst du Rahmengeometrie an deinen Fahrstil und das Terrain anpassen. Die Einstellung „high“ sorgt für mehr Bodenfreiheit, eine gute Option für enges, technisches Gelände. In der Einstellung „low“ wird das Steuerrohr lockerer und das Tretlager sinkt, ideal für ein sicheres Handling bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten. Die mittlere Position ist neutral. Darüber hinaus passt ein neuer Steuersatz-Flip-Chip den Reach um 10 mm an.

An ALUXX SL aluminum chassis features a new Maestro rear suspension setup with 145mm of rear travel. Combined with a 160mm fork, this longer travel trail bike gobbles up rocks, roots and ruts with total control. The mixed wheel “mullet” setup combines a 27.5-inch rear and 29-inch front, a playful combination that blends rollover capabilities with quick and agile maneuvering. The frame is equipped with two, three-position flip chips. The rear flip chip, located on the rocker arm, lets riders adjust geometry and fine-tune the handling. And a new headset flip chip offers 10mm of reach adjustment to dial in position and fit. New, integrated frame storage inside the down tube makes it easy to carry tools, snacks and other essentials. Mounts below the top tube offer an additional option for storage, and protection on the down tube prevents damage from trail debris and transportation.

A high-pressure molding process is used to produce a complex shaped carbon-fiber upper rocker arm that is lighter, stiffer and stronger than an aluminum version.

Adjustable Frame Geometry
Flip chip adjustability lets you switch between two settings depending on the terrain you are riding. You can select a 63.2, 63.5 or 63.9-degree head angle and corresponding 75.6, 75.9 or 76.3-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 30, 26 or 21mm bottom bracket drop (size medium).

Reach Adjust
Three-position flip chip at the headset lets riders dial in cockpit dimensions and geometry. This modular system helps fine tune the bike’s handling and rider position using two positioning chips that can be removed and swapped to achieve a Short (-5mm), Mid (0mm) or Long (+5mm) reach.

Mixed Wheel Setup
A 29-inch front wheel provides speed, stability and front-end control on rough, technical trails. A 27.5-inch rear wheel adds agility and maneuverability to help riders rail corners, pop over features and show off their style.

Frame Storage

A massively oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated, 92mm wide design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and increased stability on the non-driveside.

OVERDRIVE
Der Original-Oversized-Gabelschaft von GIANT. Für Lenkpräzision gebaut, liefern die extragrossen Steuersatzlager (1 1/4" unten, 1 1/8" oben für die Straße, 1 1/2" unten und 1 1/8" oben für Mountain) und der konische Gabelschaft optimale Steifigkeit im Vorderbau.
POWERCORE
Das PowerCore Innenlagergehäuse ist ein weiterer Punkt, der zur hohen Rahmensteifigkeit bei Giant beiträgt. Der weite Sitz der Innenlagerschalen und die gute Verbindung um MegaDrive Unterrohr erhöhen die Rahmensteifigkeit.
