FLEXPOINT PRO SUSPENSION
Developed as superlight rear suspension for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, this 120mm, linkage-driven, single-pivot system is semi-integrated and attached beneath the top tube with a full-composite swingarm to minimize frame weight.

ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE
A high-pressure molding process is used to produce a complex shaped carbon-fiber upper rocker arm that is lighter, stiffer and stronger than an aluminum version.

ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY
A two-position flip chip lets you adjust frame geometry and fine-tune the handling for your riding style and terrain. The High setting locks in a steeper head and seat tube angle, along with a higher bottom bracket, for sharp, aggressive handling on tight, technical terrain. The Low setting reduces the head and seat tube angles and lowers the bottom bracket, offering slightly more relaxed handling and greater control for high-speed descents.

TWO BOTTLES
New frame design has space for a second water bottle. Integrated mounts on the the seat tube allow you to carry more hydration without having to wear a pack—a major upgrade for marathon races or longer XC rides.

Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

ADVANCED SL COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIE
Diese Carbonfaser des höchsten Grades wird verwendet, um ein exklusives Rahmenmaterial aus Verbundstoff herzustellen, das im eigenen Werk gewebt und verarbeitet wird. Bei der Carbon-Nanotube-Technologie (CNT) wird ein mikroskopisch kleines Polymer der speziellen Harzmischung von GIANT hinzugefügt. Diese CNT-Teilchen fungieren als Stützfeiler in Miniaturgröße und stärken die Verbundschichten. Mit CNT behandelte Rahmen besitzen eine 14 Mal höhere Stoßfestigkeit als Rahmen ohne CNT und sind bis zu 100 g leichter.

MEGADRIVE
Das MegaDrive Unterrohr erhöht die Kombination mit dem Overdrive/Overdrive 2 die Rahmensteifigkeit. Der Durchmesser des Unterrohrs ist soweit vergrössert wie es möglich ist. Durch die geringen Wandstärken ist das MegaDrive Unterrohr aber dennoch sehr leicht.
OVERDRIVE
Der Original-Oversized-Gabelschaft von GIANT. Für Lenkpräzision gebaut, liefern die extragrossen Steuersatzlager (1 1/4" unten, 1 1/8" oben für die Straße, 1 1/2" unten und 1 1/8" oben für Mountain) und der konische Gabelschaft optimale Steifigkeit im Vorderbau.
POWERCORE
Das PowerCore Innenlagergehäuse ist ein weiterer Punkt, der zur hohen Rahmensteifigkeit bei Giant beiträgt. Der weite Sitz der Innenlagerschalen und die gute Verbindung um MegaDrive Unterrohr erhöhen die Rahmensteifigkeit.
Wide Guard Technology
When your wheel hits a sharp or square edge, especially at speed, pinch flats and rim damage can occur. Wide Guard technology minimizes this risk by broadening the contact point between the rim and tire with a solid 5mm rim sidewall. That means you can skip the heavy tire inserts to have less unsprung weight on your bike and allow your suspension to perform better. The wide sidewalls also better protect your wheel from big impacts, reducing the possibility of rim damage.
